Jared Goff and Lions not close on extension
There is no “imminent” new deal for Lions QB Jared Goff, despite new deals for OT Penei Sewell and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Fantasy Impact
Goff will still lead one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses, but his future with the Lions remains a bit murky. He’s a solid QB2 for fantasy at this point.

Trey Hendrickson requests trade
DE Trey Hendrickson has requested a trade out of Cincinnati. The three-time pro-bowler is looking for a long-term deal and it appears as though negotiations with the Bengals were unsuccessful.
Fantasy Impact
The loss of Hendrickson would be a huge blow for the Bengals’ defence. He’s been this unit’s most consistent performer over the years. The news will perhaps force the Bengals to address the DE position in the draft.
Nino Lombardi
Ezekiel Elliott in talks with the Cowboys
The Cowboys met with Elliott and his agent. While a deal has not been finalized yet, the former pro-bowler may be returning to the team that drafted him.
Fantasy Impact
The Cowboys are in desperate need of RB depth. As it currently stands, their top two options are Royce Freeman and Rico Dowdle. While it is presumed that they’ll address the position in the upcoming NFL draft, Elliott’s veteran presence can certainly help the Cowboys.
