We finally saw our first series come to an end on Sunday, and we might be losing teams every night from here on out. Los Angeles and New Orleans are staring at elimination here, with both teams entering those matchups as underdogs. That should lead to some mayhem on this Monday card, so let’s go ahead and get into it!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (PG/SG – OKC): $9,000 DraftKings, $10,600 FanDuel
Oklahoma City is looking to close out this series, and you better believe that Gilgeous-Alexander will do everything possible to accomplish that goal. He was one of the league leaders with 53 DraftKings points per game during the regular season and has scored 49 and 52 DK points in the last two games of this series. That’s not quite the production we’ve become accustomed to, but there’s no better bet for 40-50 DK points from a $9K player.
Jamal Murray (PG – DEN): $8,200 DraftKings, $8,900 FanDuel
Murray always plays his best basketball in the postseason. The Denver point guard has averaged nearly 50 DraftKings points per game in the playoffs over the last three years and has his average above 50 DK points per game against LA in the postseason. He’s also scored at least 34 fantasy points in eight straight outings despite struggling with his shot in that span. This guy will eventually knock down some shots, which could lead to a 60-point outburst.
Cash Game Considerations
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $11,200 DraftKings, $12,100 FanDuel
The Joker has re-cemented himself as the best player in basketball. The big man has averaged at least 60 DraftKings points per game in four straight seasons while providing a 50-point floor. He’s also been better throughout his postseason career, scoring at least 75 DK points in two of his last three outings. This is a closeout game at home, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Joker flirt with a 35-point triple-double in such a critical game.
Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL): $9,700 DraftKings, $11,300 FanDuel
Los Angeles looks like they’ll be traveling to Cabo after this game, but it’s not AD’s fault. This guy has been unstoppable in this series, scoring at least 52 DraftKings points in every game. That’s no surprise since he averaged over 50 DK points per game in the second half of the season, and that should be his floor here in a 40-minute role in an elimination game for LA.
GPP Targets
Tyler Herro (PG/SG – MIA): $8,000 DraftKings, $8,100 FanDuel
It’s sad how many injuries Miami has suffered, but it’s forcing Herro into the most prominent role of his career. With Butler and Rozier both sidelined, Herro is locked into 40 minutes, 25 shots, and a 35 percent usage rate. This guy can be a $10K player in that type of role, scoring at least 51 DK points in two of his last four fixtures. This is a must-win game for Miami as a 2-1 underdog in this series, so look for Herro to play hero at home.
Josh Giddey (PG/SG – OKC): $5,500 DraftKings, $5,900 FanDuel
Giddey can be frustrating, but he’s had some massive games over the last month. The Aussie scored at least 42 DraftKings points in seven of his final 11 regular-season games and dropped 43 DK points in Game 3. His ability to stuff the stat sheet led to such a massive upside, and it’s rare to see a sub-$6K player have so many upside games. JG is risky with his volatility, but the upside for 40 fantasy points is hard to overlook with how cheap he is!
Value Plays
Michael Porter Jr. (SF/PF – DEN): $6,600 DraftKings, $7,100 FanDuel
MPJ has been knocking down some ridiculous shots in this series, but we’ve always known he has that ability. The sharpshooter has scored at least 37 DraftKings points in every game of this series, generating a 41-point average. That’s a tremendous total from a player in this price range, but it’s no surprise since LA allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing forwards during the regular season. In fact, MPJ has scored at least 37 fantasy points in all seven of their matchups this year!
Herbert Jones (SF/PF – NOP): $5,200 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
Herb won’t have many massive games, but his 40-minute role makes him a heck of a value in this price range. The defensive stud has scored at least 23 DK points in every game of this series, which is right on par with his 24-point average during the regular season. That’s all you can ask for from a $5K player, especially since he has a 40-point upside as well. As long as this guy plays 40 minutes, which he will, Herb should be $6K!
