It’s been terrible seeing all of these injuries. I have numerous leagues where all four of my injured list (IL) slots are full and we’re not even a month into the season. That makes this article as critical as ever because numerous big-name players are flirting with a return.
Let’s dive into this week’s rankings and determine who is worth those precious IL spots. Here are the full injury stash rankings and recommendations. Below we dive into a few notable injury updates.

2024 Fantasy Baseball Injury Stashes
Walker Buehler is a difficult player to figure out because it’s tough to say how L.A. will handle his workload. He’s been out for over a year due to Tommy John surgery but is expected back within the next two weeks. He’s making his fourth rehab start today and could be back in the Dodgers’ rotation before our next article is published. With that said, don’t be surprised to see him skipped sometimes and possibly limited throughout the year.
This is the final week Justin Verlander will be in this article, something fantasy managers love to hear. The former Cy Young winner made his final rehab appearance and is expected to make his season debut on Friday. Activate him accordingly.
Tampa is always quiet regarding injury news but we finally got an update on Josh Lowe. The outfielder is expected to begin his rehab assignment on Thursday, which could have him in line to return in a week. He didn’t have much spring training action, so look for him to play at least 5-10 games in the minors.
When Luis Robert suffered a Grade 2 hip flexor last week he was projected to miss three months. That timetable has been dropped to six weeks. That’s a good sign but don’t expect to see Robert before the end of May.
