Fantasy Impact: Edman continues to rehab from offseason surgery on his right wrist. He is beginning to progress through the early stages of his rehab and should begin hitting soon barring any setbacks.

Seiya Suzuki (oblique) lands on the IL

Fantasy Impact: Suzuki missed six weeks in spring training last season due to a left oblique strain. The 29-year-old was off to a hot start this season, so this will be a major blow to the Cubs and fantasy managers if he has to miss any significant amount of time. The Cubs have recalled Alexander Canario to fill Suzuki’s roster spot.

Justin Verlander (shoulder) to throw bullpen Tuesday
