Fantasy Baseball Closer Report: Ryan Helsley, David Bednar, Mason Miller (2024)

We are back with the second edition of the “Closer Report” for this season. We’re still seeing several injuries to top closers in the MLB, so a lot of changes to this chart will be made in the next month or so.

It is important to remember that new closers will emerge as the season progresses, making it even more important to monitor the waiver wire in your league daily or every other day.

News & Notes

Mason Miller has taken clear control of the closer role in Oakland after an impressive appearance to close out the Athletics’ 1-0 win over the Rangers on Thursday. He may not see a ton of save chances overall this season, but any closer holds value for fantasy managers.

Paul Sewald, Jhoan Duran and Jordan Romano all remain without a clear timetable to return. Kevin Ginkel continues to hold the closer role in Arizona, while it’s more so committee situations in the Twins and Blue Jays bullpens.

Pete Fairbanks has bounced back for the Rays with back-to-back saves after blowing his first attempt of the season last week against the Rockies.
