TE Noah Fant agreed to terms on a two-year $21 million contract to stay with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday. Seattle lost both Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson on the first day of the NFL’s legal tampering period on Monday, so keeping Fant apparently became a priority for them.
Let’s examine the immediate implications and fantasy football impact of Fant agreeing to re-sign with the Seahawks.

Noah Fant Re-Signs with Seattle Seahawks
Fant is returning to the Seahawks, in what seems like a peculiar maneuver on his part. Because last season was a disaster. Before the 2023 season, Fant had finished no worse than TE17 any year of his career. Coming off zero TDs with horrible usage in a three-way committee deployed by the Seahawks’ previous regime, the uber-athletic tight end seemed prime for a fresh start somewhere at just 26 years old.
He still ranked 7th among all tight ends in yards after the catch per reception in 2023 (5.7).
Alas, Fant will be back in Seattle albeit in a new offense under new OC Ryan Grubb.
That’s the hope, with Seattle moving on from both tight ends Colby Parkinson and Will Dissly this offseason. If we can get Fant in a single TE1 role, we could get more consistent fantasy juice from his days in Denver. However, removing the other tight ends is only one part of the hurdle Fant will face, given the trio of WRs he must compete for targets with.
