Tua Tagovailoa, agent expected to talk extension
Dolphins GM Chris Grier said they will meet with Tua Tagovailoa‘s agent this week in Indy about long-term extension.

Fantasy Impact

Grier said that they are “hopeful” to get deal done this offseason & “ideal” before training camp and season. He added that big money quarterback deals “rarely come together quickly.”

Amon-Ra St. Brown: Lions expected to talk extension this offseason
The Detroit Lions are expected to speak with Amon-Ra St. Brown‘s agent about a contract extension.

St. Brown is set to enter the final contract of his rookie season, which he has clearly surpassed so far. One of the top wide receivers in the NFL, the Lions will try to get an extension done as soon as possible.

Chuba Hubbard named ‘lead back going forward’
Carolina Panthers RB was named the “lead back going forward” by Dan Morgan, the team’s general manager and president of football operations.

Fantasy Impact

Hubbard, who took over the RB1 role from Miles Sanders midseason, started all 12 games for the Panthers after Week 6. He averaged 62.3 yards per game as a starter, including five total touchdowns and five games with 80+ rushing yards. The Panthers are set to head into 2024 with Hubbard, who is entering his fourth season, and Sanders, who will be in Year 2 of his big contract and will become cuttable after 2024.
