Jonnu Smith meets with Dolphins
Free agent TE Jonnu Smith visited the Dolphins Tuesday and are in contract negotiations.

Smith would provide the Dolphins’ offense with a receiving tight end, which it lacked in the 2023 season. The 28-year-old veteran logged 582 yards and three touchdowns on 50 receptions in 17 games with the Falcons last season.

Calvin Ridley ‘trending toward’ hitting free agency
Jaguars WR Calvin Ridley is trending toward reaching free agency after the team used the franchise tag on LB Josh Allen.

Ridley would easily be the top wide receiver available and should have teams looking to offer a lucrative contract. Ridley played in 17 games last season, totaling 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns on 76 receptions.

With WR Michael Thomas‘ contract set to void, several scouts have “pointed out Baltimore as a good fit” for the former New Orleans Saints standout.

The once-All-Pro WR has since seen a decline in production due in large part to struggles to stay healthy, playing 20 games in his last four seasons. Thomas was linked to the Ravens who are expected to part with WR Odell Beckham Jr. and value veteran pass-catchers, though ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler also mentioned Denver as a potential landing spot alongside Thomas’ former head coach Sean Payton.
