Fantasy Football Mock Draft: DraftKings Best Ball Picks 2024

Draft Settings  & Lineup Requirements

1 QB | 2 RB | 3 WR | 1 TE | 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE) | 12 Bench Spots |Fast Pitch Clock (30 Seconds)

Here is a breakdown of every pick I made in this mock draft:

Pick 1.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: Tyreek Hill, Breece Hall, Justin Jefferson, Bijan Robinson

Tyreek Hill was the top consensus pick available, and it was a no-brainer. He’s had back-to-back 1,700+ receiving yard season and 21 total touchdowns in that span. He’s got his eye on 2,000, and he can do it.

Pick: Tyreek Hill (WR – MIA)

Pick 2.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: Travis Etienne Jr., Brandon Aiyuk, De’Von Achane, DJ Moore

With these suggested picks, I would lean toward De’Von Achane because DJ Moore’s quarterback situation is unclear, and it is being said Travis Etienne will get fewer carries. I decided I didn’t want two Dolphins in a row, and instead, I’ll grab one of the top QBs. Say what you want about Josh Allen as a regular NFL quarterback, but his rushing ability, especially in the red zone, makes him the best ball gold.

Pick: Josh Allen (QB – BUF)

Pick 3.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: Mike Evans, Kenneth Walker III, Isiah Pacheco, Lamar Jackson, Rachaad White

I narrowed it down to the two players in Tampa Bay. Mike Evans is consistent; he is the first player ever to have 1,000+ receiving yards in his first 10 seasons. However, Rachaad White proved himself a valuable dual threat last year. I need a running back, and I’m taking the one who had 336 touches and 1,539 yards from scrimmage.

Pick: Rachaad White (RB – TAM)

Pick 4.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: DK Metcalf, Mark Andrews, Jaylen Waddle, Rhamondre Stevenson

This wasn’t a tough choice. Mark Andrews will still be a clear-cut top-five tight end at the end of the year. Lamar Jackson trusts him more than anyone.

Pick: Mark Andrews (TE – BAL)

Pick 5.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: DK Metcalf, Rhamondre Stevenson, Joe Mixon, Tank Dell

I wouldn’t be mad if you took DK Metcalf. He had another 1,000-yard season with eight touchdowns. Still, I love the Tank Dell. C.J. Stroud is in year two of this offense, and his ceiling is within the top five quarterbacks. I want players attached to that upside.

Pick: Tank Dell (WR – HOU)

Pick 6.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: Drake London, Raheem Mostert, Javonte Williams, Zamir White

I love Zamir White this year. There is no Josh Jacobs, Aidan O’Connell or Gardner Minshew will be the quarterback and the Raiders will be a run-heavy offense. Still, according to his ADP, this would be taking White too high. Kirk Cousins in Atlanta is a massive upgrade, and if he can elevate Drak London to his ceiling, this is a massive value.

Pick: Drake London (WR – ATL)

Pick 7.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: Raheem Mostert, Calvin Ridley, Jaylen Warren, Chuba Hubbard

The bad news is we lost out on White. It was a risk not taking him; sometimes, it doesn’t work out. I don’t love these suggestions, so I’m going rogue. I’m taking my second quarterback with Jordan Love on the board. After a rough stretch of the season, he finished strong as the QB4 from Week 7-18. It only gets better in year two as the starter, and now he has Jacobs in the backfield.

Pick: Jordan Love (QB – GB)

Pick 8.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: Christian Kirk, Khalil Herbert, Zack Moss, Gus Edwards

I don’t love any of these suggested picks. Zack Moss and Gus Edwards are in new spots, Khalil Herbert is taking a backseat to D’Andre Swift and Christian Kirk is coming off an injury. Zach Charbonnet is not too far down in running back rankings. He showed off his abilities in a few games and is ready to niche out his role as a pass-catching running back.

Pick: Zach Charbonnet (RB – SEA)

Pick 9.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: Christian Kirk, Khalil Herbert, Gus Edwards, Ty Chandler

I’m looking at Edwards in this spot. He’s reuniting with former Baltimore OC Greg Roman, who used him in short-down and goal-line situations. Last year, he had an astonishing 13 touchdowns. He won’t get that number again, but Roman emphasized there will be more running, and Edwards will be a key part of it.

Pick: Gus Edwards (RB – LAC)

Pick 10.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: Tyler Lockett, Kendre Miller, A.J. Dillon, Marquise Brown

I’m intrigued about where Marquise Brown will land in free agency. He has so much speed and great route-running abilities that if he goes to a pass-heavy offense – even as a WR2 – he could have phenomenal numbers.

Pick: Marquise Brown (WR – FA)

Pick 11.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: A.J. Dillon, Gabe Davis, Antonio Gibson, J.K. Dobbins

This is another list of suggested picks I don’t like, but we’re not too far from Kyle Pitts. He has burned us in the past, but it will be different. With a new coach and quarterback, it’s time for him to shine.

Pick: Kyle Pitts (TE – ATL)

Pick 12.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: JK Dobbins, Ezekiel Elliott, Marvin Mims Jr., Rico Dowdle

Our suggested picks are all backups or in questionable situations. As we go down the rankings, some good quarterbacks are not too far off. I’m looking at Jared Goff, who led one of the best offenses and finished as the QB7. He has the same offensive weapons and coaching staff; let him roll.

Pick: Jared Goff (QB – DET)

13.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: Ezekiel Elliott, Marvin Mims Jr., Miles Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell

Here are some more suggestions I’m not feeling. However, Cole Kmet was not too far in the rankings. He finished as the TE8 last year, and whether he has the familiarity of Justin Fields or is the security blanket of Caleb Williams, he will continue that same production.

Pick: Cole Kmet (TE – CHI)

14.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: Kenneth Gainwell, Joshua Palmer, D’Onta Foreman, Jamaal Williams

As we get deeper, it gets more difficult. Most of these suggestions are backups and lower on depth charts. Not far from them is Dalton Schultz. In a non-best ball league, carrying three tight ends is not an ideal suggestion, but here, I’m taking the player who averaged 10.4 points per game.

Pick: Dalton Schultz (TE – HOU)

Pick 15.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: Kenneth Gainwell, D’Onta Foreman, Jamaal Williams, Curtis Samuel

Curtis Samuel had some stellar games last year and finished within the top 20 four times. In both Carolina and Washington, Samuel has always had some great games. He can line up in multiple spots and be used in different ways. He’ll get you a few big games.

Pick: Curtis Samuel (WR – FA)

Pick 16.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: Kareem Hunt, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Tank Bigsby, Darnell Mooney

Tank Bigsby was a sleeper of mine last year, but unfortunately, that didn’t work out. This offseason, we heard that Etienne will have less of a workload, which would mean a bigger role for the Bigsby. If that comes to fruition, then it could be a big payoff.

Pick: Tank Bigsby (RB – JAX)

Pick 17.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: Jerick McKinnon, Ray Davis, Darnell Mooney, Will Shipley

We’re getting to the bottom of the barrel, but Darnell Mooney has the most value of any of these.

Pick: Darnell Mooney (WR – ATL)

Pick 18.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: Pierre Strong Jr., Jeff Wilson Jr., Tyler Boyd, Sean Tucker

I’m interested in where Tyler Boyd goes. He has two 1,000-yard seasons under his belt and was just in an unfortunate situation in Cincinnati after Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase came in. We could see a re-emergence in his next destination.

Pick: Tyler Boyd (WR – FA)

Pick 19.04

Top Suggested Picks Available: Jeff Wilson Jr., Michael Carter, Samaje Perine, Sean Tucker

It’s difficult at this point, but if Javonte Williams goes down, Samaje Perine becomes a 15-touch player. The Broncos could also look to draft a rookie quarterback and lean toward the run this year.

Pick: Samaje Perine (RB – CIN)

Pick 20.09

Top Suggested Picks Available: Emari Demercado, Damien Harris, Ronnie Rivers, Sean Tucker

Damien Harris is the only player left that I felt could get some work.

Pick Made: Damien Harris (RB – BUF)
