The 2023-24 NBA regular season will be over in a month. With that, the fantasy playoffs are right around the corner. If you’re on the bubble of playoff contention, now is the time to push all of your chips in.

Fantasy Basketball Trade Advice (Week 21)

Trade For

Bogdan Bogdanovic (ATL – PF, SF, SG)

The Hawks find themselves unhealthy at the wrong time. An ankle injury to Jalen Johnson has kept him out since March 6 (he returned last night). On top of that, it was announced on Tuesday that Saddiq Bey will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Then, there’s the Trae Young injury. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Deandre Hunter are left as the two proven wings attempting to fill those massive voids.

Atlanta has an incentive to remain competitive as they sit 10th in the East, so look for Bogdanovic’s 14 field goal attempts and 29.7 minutes per game to both increase.

Players to Trade Him For Who Are Ranked Higher: Kelly Oubre Jr., Jabari Smith Jr., Andrew Wiggins

Trade Away

Jerami Grant (POR – PF, SF)

Jerami Grant has been in and out of the lineup lately with a hamstring injury. Grant enjoyed a great February in which he posted 24.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.1 rebounds per game despite the Blazers going 0-9. In just four games played in March, the veteran is averaging 12.3 points, 1.5 boards and three assists on 40% shooting from the field.

The best ability is availability — especially during a playoff push. Attempt to trade Grant for someone healthy and more reliable.

Players to Trade Him For Who Are Ranked Lower: Devin Vassell, Jalen Williams

Trade For

Kelly Olynyk (TOR – PF, C)

Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl are out indefinitely with respective hand injuries. Kelly Olynyk has quickly taken advantage of the greater opportunity. Olynyk, who recently signed a two-year contract extension with Toronto, is averaging 11.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals on an impressive 51.3/35/81.4 shooting splits.

Since Poeltl went down on March 5, Olynyk has shown out, posting a line of 16.2, 5.6 and 5.2 with three games of over seven dimes as a starter. The big man provides fantasy managers with a solid floor and a surprisingly intriguing upside.

Players to Trade Him For Who Are Ranked Higher: Grant Williams, Zach Collins, Gordon Hayward

Trade Away

Walker Kessler (UTH – C)

Walker Kessler’s minutes have been on the decline in recent weeks. In his last 15 games, Kessler has played 30+ minutes just once and less than 20 minutes seven times. Inconsistent playing time doesn’t mesh well with chasing a fantasy playoff spot.

Because of his attractive rebound and block numbers, Kessler has a solid ceiling. His capped minutes make it difficult for him to reach those numbers, though.

Players to Trade Him For Who Are Ranked Lower: Jusuf Nurkic, Franz Wagner
