Garrett threw live batting practice on Sunday as well as he recovers from shoulder soreness early in camp. He still isn’t expected to be ready for the start of the season.

Buxton has sat out the last couple of days due to lower-back tightness, but the oft-injured slugger returned to action Wednesday. Buxton is having a tremendous spring so far, as he’s gone 8 for 24 with four extra-base hits across nine games so far.
