2. Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels (QB -LSU)
Daniels improved as a passer every year in college, but he still falls behind Drake Maye in my rookie grading. While Daniels does bring game-breaking speed and elite upside, he rarely gets past his first read and looks to run early and often. Nevertheless, Washington gets their guy, and Kliff Kingsbury gets a chance to coach another young mobile quarterback in Jayden Daniels, reminiscent of his time with Kyler Murray.

8. TRADE – New York Giants: Rome Odunze (WR – Washington)
- Giants trade: Pick No. 6
- Falcons trade: Pick Nos. 8 and 79, plus a conditional 2025 fifth-rounder
The Giants end up with the player they were most likely to select if they remained at No. 6 in Odunze. He is the most well-balanced wide receiver prospect in this class and can immediately dominate targets in New York. Not even quarterback Daniel Jones can hold back a talent like Odunze for long.

9. Chicago Bears: Malik Nabers (WR – LSU)
The Bears leave the first round with two of the most exciting players available. Nabers brings immediate versatility to the offense. Pairing him with fellow pass-catcher DJ Moore gives Caleb Williams one of the most electric wide receiver duos in the NFL.
