2024 NFL Mock Draft
3. New England Patriots: Drake Maye (QB – UNC)
The Patriots have Drake Maye fall into their lap and get the fit they were hoping for as they look to the post-Bill Belichick Era. Maye possesses impressive arm talent and mobility for a player of his size.

4. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR – Ohio State)
There is a chance Harrison isn’t available at No. 4 – he’s that good. But if he is, it makes Arizona’s decision an easy one. Harrison is in rarified air as a prospect and one of the most exciting pass catchers to enter the NFL since Ja’Marr Chase. The Cardinals give Murray his elite wide receiver to pair with breakout tight end Trey McBride.

31. San Francisco 49ers: Troy Franklin (WR – Oregon)
The 49ers are absolutely loaded with talent on the offensive side of the ball. Still, questions about their ability to resign wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, as well as the always looming health concerns of Deebo Samuel, can’t be ignored. Whether Aiyuk is on the roster or not in 2024 (I think he will be), Troy Franklin fills a need. He is a speedy route runner with the size to be an alpha. Fitting him into the Shanahan system could unlock a whole new ceiling for the Niners in 2024.

32. Kansas City Chiefs: Brian Thomas Jr. (WR – LSU)
The Chiefs have one obvious need: wide receiver. Ideally, Franklin makes it to them, but in this scenario, they get a wide receiver who is ranked as many people WR4 in the class in Thomas Jr. – a big wide receiver with blazing speed. He has excellent hip flexibility for a player of his size and was a touchdown machine his final season at LSU. Thomas Jr. isn’t without flaws, but as he develops into a true X receiver, he has the benefit of Patrick Mahomes throwing him the ball to fill the gaps in his play.
