2024 NFL Draft Oregon Pro Day: Jackson Powers-Johnson, Brandon Dorlus, Khyree Jackson (Fantasy Football)

The 2024 NFL Combine has come and gone, and next up for prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class is their Pro Day. We’ll dive into notable players entering Pro Days as they try to improve their stock for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

2024 NFL Draft Outlook

Jackson Powers-Johnson (OC – Oregon)

May not be the sexiest interior lineman prospect in the class, but has the bulk, technique, consistency, and functional strength to hold up as a starting pro pivot. Has almost no major flaws, so should be able to step in sooner rather than later as a scheme-versatile center and provide solid play. Not quite as experienced as some teams may like in an offensive lineman prospect, but has a favorable developmental trajectory, and that could help him find a spot somewhere on the second day of the draft.

Brandon Dorlus (DL – Oregon)

An experienced, polished, and versatile defensive lineman who can do a little bit of everything, playing with the type of awareness and discipline to step into a pro rotation early in his career. May never be the type of lineman who’s going to blow away opponents with his first-step explosiveness or overwhelm them with his bull rush, but offers consistent down-to-down play. Should be able to effectively read and react as a two-gap lineman in the run game and create pressure on second effort in the passing game.

Khyree Jackson (CB – Oregon)

Looks like a first or second-round pick on tape, with a combination of size, length, flexibility, physicality, awareness and ball skills which allowed him to smother out receivers down the sidelines this year. Ultimately, stock will probably depend more on what teams learn about his character during the pre-draft process, as his suspension at Alabama will raise flags. If everything checks out there, it’d be very surprising if he made it out of the second round. However, if there are any concerns about his work habits or locker-room dynamics, could slip further down the board. I love the tape so much, it’d be hard to imagine him falling out of the second day.
