2024 NFL Draft Outlook
A classic jitterbug type with probably the best agility in this year’s class, he’s established himself as a major part of Oregon’s offense, combining decisiveness between the tackles with creativity on lateral rushing attempts and value in the screen game. Lack ideal size, power, and pass-blocking chops means he’ll almost certainly be part of a running-back rotation, but teams looking for a creative spark on offense will be interested. Oregon actually runs a lot of gap concepts, but would probably be best on outside zone plays at the next level.

An interesting quarterback prospect who combines a quick release, a strong arm, and the ability to extend the play as a passer or pick up first-downs on his own. At times, could play with less urgency, as the consistency of his base and mechanics can lead to placement issues which weren’t really reflected in his numbers because of the heavy emphasis Oregon put on routine throws. Outstanding production over the past two seasons has really improved his draft stock, and looks like a pretty good bet to come off the board within the first fifty picks or so.

A tall, lanky receiver with very good flexibility and solid speed, he makes good adjustments to the ball and provides a relatively big target for his quarterback. However, his thin frame, lack of ideal functional strength, and relatively basic route-running may make it difficult for him to make as immediate an impact as some of the other receiver prospects in the class. Early on in his career, will probably be used as a deep threat and goal-line option as he builds strength and refines his game. Production and tools should get him into the second day.
