2024 NFL Draft Georiga Pro Day: Javon Bullard, Tykee Smith, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint (Fantasy Football)

The 2024 NFL Combine has come and gone, and next up for prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class is their Pro Day. We’ll dive into notable players entering Pro Days as they try to improve their stock for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

2024 NFL Draft Outlook

Javon Bullard (DB – Georgia)

One of the best pure football players in the class, with the type of polished technique, passionate and physical play, and versatility to contribute early in his career, likely as a “Star” nickel-back type. May not have ideal size and length, but plays bigger than his size, using excellent awareness/recognition skills and fast, fluid athleticism to put himself in position to make plays. Teams that like to move around their players and ask them to perform different roles should be looking at him very early in the draft.

Tykee Smith (DB – Georgia)

One of the most careful defensive backs in the class, he was almost always playing in the slot during the games reviewed. With his patient approach, risk-averse angles and reliable tackling, should appeal to defenses which like to force their opponents to string together long drives in order to score. While he shows good technique in coverage, especially when he doesn’t have to turn his back to the passer, it’s fair to wonder whether he has the size, speed, and explosiveness to stick with the top pro slot receivers. Probably more temperamentally-suited to a robber-type role at the next level, which would play to his strengths.

Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint (WR – Georgia)

A tall, thin receiver who wasn’t a major focal point of Georgia’s offense, but who can create separation for timing-based throws out toward the boundary. Offers a reliable pair of hands with good body control and sideline awareness. At this point, he allows too many defenders back into the play. You’d like to see him use his frame more effectively and work back to the ball much more aggressively on curls, comebacks and stop routes. Looks like a mid-to-late-rounder depending on how well he tests.
