Wednesday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Brandon Miller, Jarrett Allen, Jonathan Kuminga (2/7)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2/7)

Brandon Miller (F/G – CHA): 21.5 points

Miller has caught fire for the Charlotte Hornets and is enjoying the best five game stretch of his young career. He has poured in 21 or more points in five straight and has put up an elite 28 or more points in four of those five. Miller has scored 23 or more in eight of his last 11 games overall. He could go cold from the field and end up in the high teens, but the volume has been consistent enough to touch the More against a Toronto Raptors team surrendering 23.78 points per game to the small forward position (yes, I am aware he starts from the two to the four randomly). Mash the More on Miller for Wednesday night.

Pick: More

Jarrett Allen (C – CLE): 16.5 points

Allen continues to thrive for the Cleveland Cavaliers, but last game, we finally saw his volume take a hit due to Evan Mobley seeing increased minutes. While it is ticking up, Allen has averaged 14.7 points per game in the contests Evan Mobley has played in this season. With Mobley rounding back into form and ramping up his minute count, Allen is no longer the top option in the frontcourt. He will still have some good games, but he will not average 17 points per game the rest of the way. Allen scored 17 points and 12 points in the two games against Washington this season. Jab the Less on Jarrett for Wednesday night.

Pick: More

Jonathan Kuminga (F/C/G – GSW): 18.5 points

Kuminga’s star continues to grow in Golden State. He has established himself as the unquestioned number two behind Steph Curry (at least for the regular season) and has helped provide a much needed spark to the Warriors offense. Kuminga has dropped 20 or more points in nine of his last 10 and 22 or more in eight of those 10. Kuminga should thrive tonight as a small ball five against a short-handed 76ers team gifting the fifth most points per game to the center position at 24.16 per contest. Hit the More on Kuminga for Wednesday night basketball.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
