Check out the latest news and notes around the NFL.

Marvin Harrison Jr. not expected to test at NFL Combine
Marvin Harrison Jr., a former Ohio State WR and the projected WR1 in the 2024 NFL Draft, is not expected to test at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Fantasy Impact

Not only is Harrison not testing, but he isn’t working out in Indy. He will be there only to meet with teams and is training for the season rather than the NFL Combine. Harrison is considered by many to be a generational talent at the position, and he will likely be the first non-QB off the board, potentially within the top four picks.

Malik Nabers won’t test, run at NFL Combine
Malik Nabers, a former LSU WR and a projected top-three receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft, will not run or test at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Fantasy Impact

Nabers will still be in attendance in Indianapolis to interview and meet with teams, but he will not perform, instead opting to wait until LSU’s Pro Day. Nabers is projected to be a top tester when he doesn’t eventually do so, and he could further push his case to be the WR1 in the class over Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr.

Rome Odunze to test and run at NFL Scouting Combine
Rome Odunze, a former Washington WR and a projected top-three receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft, will test and work out at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Fantasy Impact

With both his top contemporaries, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers, not set to test until their Pro Days – if at all for Harrison – Odunze has the opportunity to claim the national narrative early in Indianapolis, punching his name further into WR1 contention. With the Huskies, Odunze helped lead the College Football Playoff National Championship runner-ups.
