Wednesday is usually the busiest day of the week, but we only have six games here. That’s the perfect amount for DFS because it gives us plenty of players to talk about but not too many to be overwhelmed with. There’s a ton to discuss, so let’s start by looking at the schedule and odds!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Domantas Sabonis (PF/C – SAC): $10,300 DraftKings, $10,600 FanDuel
It’s unbelievable that Sabonis didn’t make the All-Star team. This guy leads the league in double-doubles and has the most triple-doubles over the last two months. He’s scored at least 49 DraftKings points in 28 of his last 31 games, averaging 21.2 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game in that span. That makes him an easy option on every slate, especially since he has at least 49 fantasy points in all three matchups with the Nuggets this year.
Kawhi Leonard (SF/PF – LAC): $8,700 DraftKings, $9,200 FanDuel
Kawhi isn’t getting much MVP consideration, but this guy has been ridiculous recently. The Claw has scored at least 34 DraftKings points in 29 of his last 31 games, posting a 48-point average in that span. You know he’ll be motivated against a team like the Lakers, scoring at least 59 fantasy points in two of their three matchups this year.
Brandon Ingram (SF/PF – NOP): $8,200 DraftKings, $8,000 FanDuel
This is risky, but this could be a game where New Orleans is shorthanded. Not only is it the second half of a back-to-back set, but Zion and McCollum are both on the injury report. Even with those guys, BI is averaging nearly 40 DraftKings points per game. That would be his floor if both of those studs are out, and the matchup with Indiana is incredible. The Pacers rank 28th in total defense while playing at the fastest pace in the NBA.
Cash Game Considerations
Luka Doncic (PG – DAL): $12,000 DraftKings, $12,400 FanDuel
We had Luka in here yesterday, but he’s even better today. With only six games on the docket, Doncic is impossible to avoid. The superstar guard leads the league with 65 DraftKings points per game while establishing a 50-point floor. That average is close to 70 DK points over the last month, and he should obliterate a Toronto team that ranks 26th in total defense over the last two months. Not to mention, Doncic has at least 61 fantasy points in three of his last four matchups with the Raptors.
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $11,700 DraftKings, $12,500 FanDuel
The Joker has been the safest player in fantasy for five years. The big man averages over 60 DraftKings points per game while displaying a 50-point floor. He’s been even better over the last week, scoring at least 72 DK points in three straight games. We also saw him score 91 DK points in his most recent outing, and he should slice through a 22nd-ranked Sacramento defense.
Tyrese Haliburton (PG – IND): $9,500 DraftKings, $9,500 FanDuel
Hali’s minutes were reduced because of a hammy issue, but that’s not the case anymore. The All-Star is back to playing 35 minutes a night, and this stud averaged 51 DK points per game in that role earlier in the year. We have to assume he’ll get back there in this fast-paced offense, and we love the diminished price due to the recent slump.
GPP Targets
Immanuel Quickley (PG/SG – TOR): $7,000 DraftKings, $7,100 FanDuel
IQ was a tremendous acquisition by Toronto. He’s struggled with the rest of this Raptors team, but he’s still scored at least 29 DraftKings points in 18 of 23 games since that trade. He’s also averaging 34 DK points per game in this newfound role, scoring at least 32 fantasy points in four consecutive fixtures. Dallas is far from a daunting matchup, ranked 21st in defensive efficiency ratings.
Michael Porter Jr. (SF/PF – DEN): $6,600 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel
Porter is sometimes a frustrating player to watch, but he’s a fantastic GPP option because of his ability to knock down shots. MPJ is averaging over 30 DraftKings points per game, dropping 59 DK points less than a week ago. That sort of ceiling is impressive for such an affordable player, and we love that Porter has a 36-point average in four matchups with the Kings over the last two years.
Keegan Murray (PF – SAC): $5,600 DraftKings, $6,100 FanDuel
Murray and Porter are strikingly similar players. Both of these forwards can kill opposing teams from the three-point line, with Murray averaging over 30 DK points per game before a month-long slump prior to the All-Star break. The good news is that Keegan dropped 46 fantasy points against Miami on Monday and appears to be out of his slump. He’s also played at least 34 minutes in six straight outings and shouldn’t be this cheap in that type of role.
Value Plays
Jakob Poeltl (C – TOR): $6,100 DraftKings, $6,900 FanDuel
Poeltl has been phenomenal at times this year and has been even better since the Pascal Siakam trade. That’s led to Jakob scoring at least 30 DraftKings points in nine of his last 10 games, scoring at least 37 DK points in three of his last four fixtures. That’s hard to find from another player in this price range, particularly against a subpar Dallas defense. With all that said, we love Kelly Olynyk if Poeltl has to sit.
Bennedict Mathurin (SG/SF – IND): $6,200 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel
We weren’t sure who the Buddy Hield trade would benefit most, but it’s been Mathurin. The sophomore has scored 32, 43, and 60 DK points in his three most recent outings. They’ve also decided to run plenty of their offense through this young stud, and he needs to be $1,000 more on each site if he’s going to get this type of role.
Look out for Minnesota players! Nearly the whole roster is on the injury report, and there’ll surely be some value that opens up once we get more information since they’re in a B2B!
