Having a Monday card with so few games is rare, but that’s what we have here. We have four games making up the main card, but the rest of the week is stacked. We’re down to the final month or so of the season, and it’s sad that things are winding to an end. Each team still has about 20 games, so every slate is critical from here on out!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Jalen Brunson (PG/SG – NYK): $9,700 DraftKings, $9,600 FanDuel
It’s tough to fade Brunson with Julius Randle injured. This guy was already playing at an All-Star level, but he’s being asked to do everything with Randle sidelined. That’s led to Brunson scoring at least 40 DraftKings points in 25 of his last 27 games, posting a 47-point average in that span. That should be easy to duplicate against Detroit, with the Pistons ranked 27th in points allowed and 29th in defensive efficiency. In their one matchup, JB had 42 points, six rebounds, and eight assists en route to nearly 70 DraftKings points!
Bam Adebayo (C – MIA): $8,600 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel
Bam made another All-Star team this season, but it’s scary to think what he could do here. Miami is expected to be without Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier, leaving Adebayo as the focal point of the offense. The big man is already averaging 44 DraftKings points per game, but that should be his floor since he’s looking at 40 minutes, 20 shots, and a usage rate north of 30 percent. Not to mention, Sacramento ranks 22nd in total defense.
Ausar Thompson (SG/SF – DET): $5,300 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel
This kid has been given a massive opportunity since the trade deadline, being shifted into the starting lineup. Ausar has started 29 games this year, averaging 31 DK points per game in that expanded role. That’s all you can ask for from such an affordable player, especially since he’s locked into 30-35 minutes with this shortened rotation.
Cash Game Considerations
Domantas Sabonis (PF/C – SAC): $10,200 DraftKings, $10,800 FanDuel
Sabonis is leading the league in double-doubles and battling Nikola Jokic for the most triple-doubles. Almost all of those triple-doubles have come over the last two months, with Domas scoring at least 49 DraftKings points in 17 of his last 18 games. The big man also generates a 55-point average in that span, dropping 68 fantasy points in his one matchup with Miami.
Tyrese Haliburton (PG – IND): $9,500 DraftKings, $9,700 FanDuel
Hali’s price dropped when he was limited earlier in the month, but that’s not the case anymore. The All-Star is back to playing 30-35 minutes a night, averaging over 50 DraftKings points per game in that type of role. The resurgence has led to Hali scoring at least 49 fantasy points in three of his last four fixtures, and he shouldn’t have any issues against a terrible Toronto team that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency over the last two months. In their two matchups this season, Haliburton has 52 and 65 DraftKings points!
GPP Targets
Immanuel Quickley (PG – TOR): $7,200 DraftKings, $7,000 FanDuel
This Raptors team has fallen apart in the second half of the season, but it’s no fault of Quickley’s. The midseason acquisition has been solid since taking over as the starting point guard, averaging 33 DraftKings points per game in his 22 starts. He has 42 and 44 fantasy points in his two most recent outings and should thrive in this incredible matchup with Indiana. Not only do the Pacers play at the fastest pace in the NBA, but they also rank 26th in defensive efficiency and 28th in points allowed.
Isaiah Hartenstein (C – NYK): $6,100 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel
Hartenstein has been battling an Achilles issue recently, and it’s kept his minutes capped. That’s frustrating because Hartenstein averaged 36 DK points per game in 25 outings before that injury. That’s no surprise since he’s being asked to do more in the absence of Randle and Mitchell Robinson, but we’re willing to trust that prior form and use Hartenstein at this diminished price against one of the worst defenses in the NBA.
Cam Thomas (PG/SG – BKN): $6,800 DraftKings, $7,000 FanDuel
Thomas is risky, but he’s always a great GPP option. Trading away Spencer Dinwiddie moved him into the starting lineup, while the Ben Simmons injury should give him more ball-handling duties. That’s huge since Cam is averaging nearly 20 shots and 35 minutes in this newfound role. Thomas is also averaging 32 DK points per game as a starter and has the ability to go off for 60 with so many kep pieces out of this Brooklyn rotation. Facing the Grizzlies is great, too, missing the majority of their starting lineup due to numerous injuries.
Value Plays
Jakob Poeltl (C – TOR): $6,400 DraftKings, $6,800 FanDuel
Poeltl has always been a sneaky option in DFS, and it’s hard to understand why he remains so cheap. The big man has stepped into a more prominent role since the Pascal Siakam trade, scoring at least 30 DraftKings points in seven of his last nine games. More importantly, he’s flirting with 30 minutes a night and needs to be above $7K on both sites with that type of role. The matchup is the best part because Poeltl provided 44 DK points in his last matchup with the Pacers.
Vince Williams (SG/SF – MEM): $6,900 DraftKings, $7,100 FanDuel
We just talked about how Memphis was missing most of their rotation, but it’s turned Williams into a breakout player. He’s been the focal point of the offense with so many players out, scoring at least 26 DraftKings points in 19 of 20 starts while totaling a 34-point average. That’s hard to overlook against anyone, but Brooklyn ranks 23rd in total defense over the last month.
