Travis Kelce says he’s returning to the Chiefs next season
Travis Kelce said following the Super Bowl that he will be returning to the Chiefs next season.

Fantasy Impact

Kelce saw his seven-year streak of 1,000 yard seasons come to an end in a down year from a fantasy perspective, but came up big when it mattered the most in the NFL playoffs. He’ll look to help lead Kansas City to a third straight Super Bowl win next season. His value in fantasy drafts will be interesting to monitor.

Russell Wilson: Broncos keeping all options open at QB
The Denver Broncos are expected to keep all options open regarding veteran QB Russell Wilson, including restructuring his contract, trading him, and cutting him.

Fantasy Impact

Though it seems most likely that Wilson will be cut ahead of the Broncos’ March 17 deadline for the guarantees in his contract in 2025, the Broncos are not moving on from the possibility of keeping him on a reworked deal. The Broncos owe Wilson $39 million in 2023 regardless of his roster status, and if the Broncos can come to terms on a more favorable deal for the team, there’s a possibility Wilson could stay in Denver despite the two parties’ somewhat public spat late in the season.

Jimmy Garoppolo could be out before new league year
The Las Vegas Raiders and Jimmy Garoppolo could part ways via trade or cut before the start of the new league year.

Fantasy Impact

Garoppolo is owed a guaranteed $11.25 million in 2024 regardless, but he is owed an $11.25 million roster bonus on March 17, providing the Raiders a deadline to decide on the veteran QB’s future. With a new regime in charge, the Raiders’ front office has no ties to Garoppolo’s deal, making him a likely candidate to be moved, whether Las Vegas rolls with Aidan O’Connell for another year or they chase a veteran or look to the NFL Draft.
