NFL Divisional Round Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2023)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for this week’s NFL action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NFL more/less picks.

Sleeper Picks NFL Divisional Round

Season record: 41-31

Josh Allen (QB – BUF): 179.5 passing yards

There are two one-time entry plays for this weekend, but if you are looking to pair one with something like our regular NBA recommendation in Domantas Sabonis 0.5 double doubles, this is preferable over the Christian McCaffrey 73.5 rushing yard total. Surprisingly enough, Allen has actually fallen under the number four times this season and barely surpassed the total last week against the Dolphins when he threw for just 203 passing yards. Inclement weather is likely to be a factor again this weekend, as there is a snowstorm warning for Friday and Saturday. Temperature and snowfall are expected to improve for Sunday, so we shouldn’t see any more cracked helmets, but there is no guarantee that Allen hits this passing yard number, especially if he can break the Chiefs’ backs with his legs. Still, it would be a surprise if Allen did not hit 180 passing yards in a playoff game between the Bills and the Chiefs. Allen threw for 233 passing yards back in Week 14 at Arrowhead. Jab the More on Josh Allen for the Divisional Round.

Pick: More

Rashee Rice (WR – KC): 67.5 receiving yards

I was going to go with the More on Zay Flowers at 49.5, but Rashee deserves more attention. Rashee has emerged as the most consistent option in the passing game for the Chiefs and will continue to be fed looks. He will get enough low air yard targets to be a catch and run threat, and since he doubles as the team’s possession receiver, he should see enough looks to hit 68 receiving yards even if he averages a low yards per catch. Rashee has seen nine or more targets in six of his last seven games. Tap the More on Rashee for Sunday evening.

Pick: More

Romeo Doubs (WR – GB): 35.5 receiving yards

Look, I did not expect Romeo to be listed at 79.5 or something after his breakout performance over Super Wild Card weekend, but being listed at just 35.5 offers some value. Doubs will likely see some bracket looks after his performance, but with Christian Watson rounding into health and Jordan Love perfectly fine targeting the rest of his stable of first and second year receivers, the 49ers will not be able to focus on him. 36 receiving yards should only take two to three receptions, making this highly appealing on the heels of his 151 receiving yard explosion. Expect Love to continue to lean on Doubs, especially when he buys time by extending the pocket. Dap the More on Doubs for this weekend.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
