There are only a couple of weeks to go until it’s all over. It’s always bittersweet. Value is hard to come by on a four-game playoff slate, but with some players already ruled out, we aren’t void of all value. For the record, I’m using the full four-game slate for these prices. They may vary depending on which slate you’re playing.

NFL DFS Divisional Round Value Picks
Quarterbacks
Draftkings
Jared Goff (DET): $6,500 vs. TB
“Home Goff”, as I like to call him, had another efficient performance last week despite not having a huge fantasy week. With the running backs able to punch it in when they got in the red zone, Goff did not need to throw the ball often enough to put up great numbers. The Bucs’ run defense is much better than the Rams’ from last week. The Bucs rank eighth in run defense DVOA, but they have allowed the seventh most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. I expect Home Goff to be forced to throw it more against this suspect secondary.
Others to consider: Brock Purdy (SF) $6,500
Fanduel
Baker Mayfield (TB): $7,300 at DET
The only team still left in the playoffs that allows more points to the quarterback than the Bucs do is the Lions who give up the third most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Conversely, the Lions’ run defense is stout, ranking first in rush defense DVOA. This game could turn into a shootout with neither team able to stop the other in the passing game.
Others to consider: CJ Stroud (HOU) $7,200
Running Backs
Draftkings
Devin Singletary (HOU): $5,700 at BAL
Running backs are the single hardest position to find value in this week, but, if forced to choose, I will take Singletary who has been getting a ton of volume in both the run and pass games. Singletary had 16 opportunities last week against an excellent defense, and I’d expect a similar role this week against another very stout defense. Only the Lions are tougher against the run of the teams still in the playoffs, but Singletary’s work in the passing game could save his fantasy day, especially on Draftkings with the PPR scoring.
Others to consider: David Montgomery (DET) $6,100
Fanduel
Gus Edwards (BAL) vs. HOU $6,900
On Fanduel I like the other running back in this game. Gus Edwards is not a pass catcher, but he is a touchdown scorer. With 13 touchdowns on the season, Edwards is an easy choice at his price. He won’t give you a ton of yards — he didn’t have a single 100-yard game this season — but he scored a touchdown in nine of his 17 games and has three games with multiple touchdowns. You need him to score a touchdown to reach his value, and a multi-touchdown game would be huge.
Wide Receivers
Draftkings
Jayden Reed (GB): $5,200 at SF
Reed was the odd man out last week as the Packers throttled the Cowboys. Reed had only three targets all game with zero catches despite his team putting up 48 points. The 49ers, as I’ve documented countless times in this column, struggle to defend the slot where Reed spends the majority of his snaps. Reed’s bad game last week likely contributed to his relatively cheap price tag as he is $500 cheaper than last week.
Others to consider: Khalil Shakir (BUF) $3,800
Fanduel
Khalil Shakir (BUF): $5,900 vs. KC
This choice is as simple as Gabe Davis is out. Shakir caught all three of his targets last week, none bigger than the one he carried the Steelers defenders into the end zone with him. Shakir is very inconsistent but has been getting more and more looks as the season wound down, and now with Davis already ruled out, he is a lock to be in my lineups.
Others to consider: Jameson Williams (DET) $5,300
Tight Ends
Draftkings
Isaiah Likely (BAL): $4,700 vs. HOU
There was some thought that Mark Andrews would be ready for this game, but unfortunately, he has already been ruled out. Likely, as he has done for the entire second half of the season, will once again be the surefire starter. Having scored a touchdown in four of his last five games, Likely is an easy decision when looking for a cheap-ish tight end this week.
Fanduel
Tucker Kraft (GB): $4,800 at SF
Cheap tight ends are hard to find on Fanduel, so I’m going to completely punt with Kraft. A tight end by committee is never a good thing in a fantasy, but on a slate with only four games, if Kraft can fall into the end zone he will give you some immediate leverage over the lineups that paid up at tight end.
Defense
Draftkings
Kansas City Chiefs: $2,800 at BUF
Weather conditions won’t be as bad as they were last week, but the Bills still have Josh Allen who is prone to turning the ball over. At this point in the playoffs, build your lineup and take any defense you can afford. The Chiefs are fairly cheap and will likely be popular.
Fanduel
Houston Texans: $3,400 at BAL
Fanduel makes picking a defense much harder than on Draftkings, so I’m going to take the second-cheapest defense and hope the Texans can get to Lamar Jackson and force him to take some sacks. The Packers are the only defense that is cheaper, but Purdy is hard to sack due to their quick pass game that gets the ball out of his hand. Lamar is known for trying to do too much and will take a few sacks.
