This is the last good week of NFL DFS. The Super Bowl is always challenging with just one game on the docket, but we should still have plenty of options here with four elite teams in play. We will try to find upside options that will be less rostered because that’ll help you stand out in GPPs. With that said, let’s dive into these Conference Championship games.
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for GPP considerations for Conference Championship Week.

Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Patrick Mahomes (QB – KC): $6,900 at BAL
It’s hard to fathom, but Mahomes will likely be third in roster percentage among the four quarterbacks. We expect Lamar Jackson and Brock Purdy to be used the most, while Mahomes is a sneaky option in GPPs. People won’t roster him because he’s having one of the worst years of his career, but 19.2 DK points is nothing to scoff at. He’s also got at least 18 DK points in four of his last five outings and always puts on a show in the postseason.
FanDuel
Jared Goff (QB – DET): $7,200 at SF
This guy will be rostered less than anyone, making him an enticing GPP play. He still averaged nearly 18 FD points per game during the regular season, scoring at least 20 FD points in two of his last three outings. We also don’t mind that he’s the largest underdog on this slate, likely leading to many attempts for Goff. If this team has to play catch-up, don’t be surprised to see Goff throw it 40-50 times and be the best DFS option out there.
Running Backs
DraftKings
David Montgomery (RB – DET): $5,600 at SF
Everyone forgets about Montgomery with Jahmyr Gibbs breaking out, but this guy carried the Lions in the first half of the season. He averaged 20 DraftKings points per game through his first eight outings and is still getting double-digit carries every game. He’s also getting all the goal-line work, scoring a touchdown in four of his last five fixtures. That sort of ability is incredible from a sub-$6K player, and it makes him a great pairing if you want to go with a San Fran passing attack.
FanDuel
Justice Hill (RB – BAL): $5,500 vs. KC
Hill has been the Ravens’ best back in the final month of the season. It’s hard to get a read on this backfield, but we love that Hill is averaging 11 FanDuel points per game across his last three outings. He also had double-digit carries in two of his last four games while receiving double-digit targets in one of the other games. That role is rare for such a cheap player, and he could be another sneaky option in GPP tournaments.
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
Zay Flowers (WR – BAL): $5,800 vs. KC
It’s bizarre to see how dominant Baltimore has been when examining them from a DFS standpoint. They don’t have any standout playmakers at the skill positions, but Flowers could be a stud in years to come. The rookie flirted with a 25 percent team target share during the regular season, scoring at least 20 DraftKings points in four of his last six games. It would be hard to imagine the Ravens winning without getting this receiver group going, and Flowers is undoubtedly the best option of this lackluster bunch.
FanDuel
Jauan Jennings (WR – SF): $5,300 vs. DET
It was really unfortunate to see Deebo Samuel get injured last week, but it allowed Jennings to play in nearly 65 percent of the team’s snaps. That makes him an intriguing option, recording five catches for 61 yards. If he duplicates that at this price, Jennings would be one of the best values of the weekend. It’s even more likely against Detroit, surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing receivers during the regular season.
Tight Ends
DraftKings
Isaiah Likely (TE – BAL): $4,300 vs. KC
It’s possible that Mark Andrews will return here, but that’s an excellent opportunity to use Likely at low ownership. This has been a great tight end over the last month, scoring at least 8.0 DK points in seven straight outings. He’s also averaging 15 DK points per game across his last seven fixtures and could get extra opportunities with Andrews stealing so much attention. That makes the $4,300 price tag laughable, but don’t be surprised to see nobody roster him with so many elite tight ends on this slate.
FanDuel
Sam LaPorta (TE – DET): $6,500 at SF
It’s hard to believe, but LaPorta might be overlooked, with Travis Kelce, George Kittle, and Mark Andrews all on this slate. That alone makes LaPorta an interesting GPP play, ranked second at the position with 11.4 FanDuel points per game. We also don’t mind that Detroit is the largest underdog on the card, and it could lead to double-digit targets if the Lions have to throw to keep up as a dog.
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Baltimore Ravens D/ST: $3,200 vs. KC
It’s impossible to recommend a GPP D/ST play for this week because there are only four to pick from. While we expect Detroit to be rostered the least, we can’t use them against San Fran. We will ride Baltimore, though, because they were the highest-scoring D/ST during the regular season. They also face a Chiefs team with the worst offensive statistics of any remaining teams, projected to have the lowest point total of any team this week. Some might be scared to roster a D/ST against the Chiefs, but this is the week to do it.
FanDuel
Kansas City Chiefs D/ST: $3,800 at BAL
Kansas City has been one of the best defenses in the NFL. They rank in the top 5 in nearly every defensive metric and could have some success against volatile quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson. Sacks and turnovers are always possible with a mobile quarterback like that, and KC could be a sneaky GPP option with the potential for one of those big defensive plays.
