I always say that this is the best week of football all season. The Super Bowl can be unpredictable, but these two games always bring it. That certainly appears to be the case, with San Fran and Baltimore looking like they’re on a crash course to face one another. Kansas City and Detroit have other ideas, and it would be silly to count out Patrick Mahomes or Dan Campbell in any postseason game. With that in mind, let’s look at cash game options for this DFS card!
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for cash game considerations for Conference Championship Week.

With that in mind, let’s look at cash game options for this DFS card!
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for cash game considerations for Conference Championship Week.
Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Brock Purdy (QB – SF): $6,400 vs. DET
We all saw Purdy play poorly last week, but look for him to be rostered on this short slate. He’s the only quarterback with a quality matchup, facing a Detroit team that surrendered the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The other three teams are all Top 10 in that statistic, making Purdy an easy cash game option behind his 20-point average and 15-point floor. Don’t be surprised to see Purdy as the highest-rostered quarterback on this slate.
FanDuel
Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL): $8,800 vs. KC
If Purdy’s not the most rostered quarterback, it’ll be Jackson. The future 2023-24 MVP leads all quarterbacks with 22 FanDuel points per game. No other signal-caller is above 19 FD points per game, with L-Jax scoring at least 33 fantasy points in three of his last five fixtures. He’s also got 36 FD points in back-to-back games and will carry this Baltimore team as far as he can! The last time he played KC, Jackson had 34 FanDuel points!
Running Backs
DraftKings
Christian McCaffrey (RB – SF): $11,000 vs. DET
McCaffrey should be the first player in everyone’s cash game lineup. This was the best player in fantasy all season, leading the NFL with 26 DraftKings points per game. That’s 10 points higher than any back on this slate, which is incredible since his 20-point floor is well above the average of the second-highest-scoring player! The Lions’ run defense has been the best in the NFL but it doesn’t matter when you’re talking about the best back in the league.
FanDuel
Jahmyr Gibbs (RB – DET): $7,000 at SF
It’s tough to gauge who will get the second-highest ownership on this slate, but it has to be Gibbs on FanDuel. This kid has been a revelation in the second half of the season, scoring at least 16 FanDuel points in nine of his final 13 games. He also flirted with a 20-point average in that span, stealing this backfield from David Montgomery. The San Fran matchup is scary, but look for Detroit to feed Gibbs in this must-win game.
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
Amon-Ra St.Brown (WR – DET): $7,900 at SF
It’s rare to have such lackluster options at the receiver position this deep into the season, but St. Brown is one of the best wideouts in the NFL. This Pro Bowler leads the position with 22 DraftKings points per game, scoring at least 21 DK points in six straight outings. That’s amazing since the next highest average is just 17 DK points per game, making ARSB the safest option in a game where Detroit will have to throw to keep up with the 49ers.
FanDuel
Rashee Rice (WR – KC): $7,100 at BAL
Nobody knew who would be the top receiver for the Chiefs coming into the year, but Rice has run away with this role. Over his last eight games, Rice has averaged nearly 20 FanDuel points per game. He was a Top 10 wide receiver over the final month of the year and should be fed in a game where Kansas City is an underdog. That makes it hard to believe that he’s fourth in salary on a four-game slate, especially with all of the question marks when examining the other receivers on the other three teams.
Tight Ends
DraftKings
George Kittle (TE – SF): $6,600 vs. DET
Four elite tight ends are taking the field in these games, but Kittle is the only one with a great matchup. The Lions ranked 28th in passing yards allowed during the regular season and are surrendering nearly 350 passing yards per game in the playoffs. That’s terrifying against one of the best tight ends in the NFL, with Kittle scoring at least 17 DraftKings points in three of his last five games. Deebo Samuel is also beat up, making Kittle more enticing.
FanDuel
Travis Kelce (TE – KC): $7,200 at BAL
Kelce has been the highest-scoring tight end for five years now and still led the league this year despite his worst season in that stretch. That shows how utterly dominant this guy is, dropping 22 FanDuel points last week. Not many players have that sort of ability, and you better believe the Chiefs will feed their beast as an underdog in this playoff game. The last time he played Baltimore, Kelce collected seven catches for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
San Francisco 49ers D/ST: $3,300 vs. DET
Picking a D/ST is the worst part about these short slates. It’s even more challenging at this point of the season because none of these offenses are bad. People will roster San Fran because they’re the largest favorite on this slate, sitting as a 6.5-point home favorite. They also have one of the best defensive units in the NFL and should be rostered heavily since Detroit is possibly the worst offense remaining among these elite teams.
FanDuel
Baltimore Ravens D/ST: $4,200 vs. KC
This is unbelievable to say, but Kansas City is the worst offense remaining. They were in the bottom half in most offensive statistics during the regular season and could struggle as a road underdog in this Conference Championship game. That’s why they’re only projected to score 20-21 points, the lowest team total on this slate. We didn’t even mention that the Ravens were the highest-scoring D/ST during the regular season, averaging nearly 10 FD points per game!
