After the Toronto Raptors’ swift retooling that sent OG Anunoby to New York and Pascal Siakam to Indiana, the first NBA Trade Deadline domino has fallen. It may take time for other selling teams to trade their stars, but there will undoubtedly be a ripple effect from Masai Ujiri’s moves.
Week 13 is here; let’s make some moves of our own!

Fantasy Basketball Trade Advice (Week 13)
Trade For
Scottie Barnes (PF, SF, SG – TOR)
After two and a half seasons, the keys to the Toronto Raptors are in Scottie Barnes’ hands. Before Wednesday’s blockbuster between Toronto and Indiana, Siakam and Barnes were neck and neck in shot volume and scoring production. However, Barnes blew Siakam out of the water in rebounding, steals, blocks and three-point percentage.
Barnes averaged 21 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.7 assists in three games without Siakam this season, which isn’t much different from his season averages. However, Barnes shot a combined 2-11 from three and 2-5 from the line in the two outings before Thursday night’s 31-point monster performance.
There’s a real chance to land Barnes now for far cheaper than in a month’s time.

Trade Away
Trades giveth and trades taketh. Unfortunately for Myles Turner, nearly 52% of Siakam’s shot attempts come in and around the restricted area. Roughly 49% of Turner’s shots come in the same fashion, but his four three-point attempts per game make up for an additional 37% of his total attempts. With that, the ninth-year center likely defers a considerable portion of his inside game to Siakam and instead shoots more threes where he’s a below-average 32.9% shooter.
Turner’s fantasy value hasn’t fallen off a cliff or anything. He’s a solid rebounder and shot blocker. However, his role within the Pacers offense will feature more of something he isn’t even league average at.

Trade For
Vince Williams Jr. (SF, SG – MEM)
Alongside GG Jackson, the second-year Vince Williams Jr. has a chance to be one of the few silver linings of the 2023-24 Grizzlies.
Williams Jr. made just 15 appearances last season, but because of injuries and Ja Morant’s suspension, he’s played 28.6 minutes per game since Dec. 1. In his last seven contests, the VCU product is putting up 12.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
There’s a real chance that he emerges as a lead guard for Memphis and, in turn, becomes a solid bench player in deep fantasy leagues.

Trade Away
Grayson Allen is comfortably having his best season to date. He’s just two three-point percentage points short of being among the nine players to join the 50/40/90 club in NBA history.
However, don’t rule out trading Allen away because of his seldom-achieved ceiling. The former Blue Devil has two games of nine treys made in the last two weeks. In that same span, Allen has two games with just one three made, finishing with five and eight points. He’s been mostly consistent on the season (he finished December with just one single-digit scoring outing), but that stability can be flipped for greater upside.
