It’s becoming a common talking point, but the NBA has really never been better. Of the 30 teams, 16 have at least 20 wins while just one team has less than 10 losses. On an individual level, there are a whopping 47 players averaging at least 20 points per game this season.
This abundance of talent has made the NBA viewing experience as entertaining as playing fantasy basketball.

On the surface, LaMelo Ball‘s return to the lineup is bad news for Miles Bridges’ fantasy production. However, despite taking more shots per game without Ball, Bridges is more productive playing alongside the Hornets point guard.
Ball’s supervision of the offense provides Bridges with higher percentage looks – especially in the fast break and on cuts. In five games with Ball in the lineup this season, Bridges averages 21.2 points per contest on 14.6 shots on 50.7% from the field. Without Ball, the Michigan State product puts up 20.6 points on 17.6 shots on 45.5% shooting.

Like all players whose names are swirling around in the rumor mill, Murray is a huge question mark in fantasy. And of all stars who may be on the move come the deadline, Murray seems to be the most likely to be traded.
The Lakers, Knicks, 76ers, and Heat are reportedly interested in the guard. If Murray does find himself on any of those teams, he is, arguably, the third option on each. You could reasonably expect his season averages of 21.1 points and five assists to take huge hits.

Just like that, Memphis is left with 30.8 vacant shot attempts per game. Jackson, who is already setting his career-high in average attempts, will be a main beneficiary of the untimely injuries to Ja Morant and Marcus Smart.
While the threat of him fouling out always looms, Jackson’s block numbers are among the league’s best and provide him with a unique ceiling.

Anthony started the season fairly well as he averaged around 15 points on just short of league average shooting efficiency, but his production has fallen off considerably since.
Due to Anthony Black‘s promising foray into the NBA as well as Jalen Suggs‘ emergence as a reliable shooter and defender, Anthony’s place on the team has shaken up. Anthony is averaging 13.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists on 44% shooting from the field and 34.6% from deep this season. There hasn’t been a marked improvement in any facet of his game since he came into the league.
