We have finally reached the offseason, and we all know the rule in dynasty: it never sleeps. With that in mind, let’s look into trade targets to keep an eye on or even start the discussion with your managers to obtain via trade. Making the correct trades could help you flourish in the future. Let’s discuss some players you should target right now this offseason.
2024 Dynasty Trade Targets
Marquise Brown (WR – ARI)
Marquise Brown did not end the season strongly once Trey McBride took over within Arizona’s offense. This was due to Kyler Murray not being 100% healthy when on the field. Brown will be the alpha wide receiver if he stays in Arizona, allowing us to have a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 on our team. Just a quick warning: there aren’t many such receivers people are willing to shop around. Take advantage now, considering Brown is also a free agent and could end up as a high-level WR2 for teams like the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions. Reuniting with Lamar Jackson on the Baltimore Ravens is also a possibility.
Gabriel Davis (WR – BUF)
I know, I know, Gabe Davis is the king of the goose egg, but hear me out on this one first before judging. Gabe Davis shouldn’t cost you much in a trade. Then, in that return, you receive a 24-year-old wide receiver who will hit the market this year. Maybe he will return to Josh Allen, which is a welcomed sight. However, he may leave and join the Houston Texans (my favorite landing spot). Now, Davis is paired with the young sensation in C.J. Stroud. Perhaps he becomes an alpha wide receiver in Carolina, who can’t build in the draft and will need to figure out moves in free agency. Now those goose eggs disappear and you have a quality Flex option while paying the price of a bench player. Don’t scoff at Gabe Davis. Zig while others zag!
Jahan Dotson (WR-WAS)
Jahan Dotson had a miserable year! However, he is still a first-round draft pick with a great rookie season. Depending on the system brought in and the rookie quarterback Washington drafts, Dotson could once again flourish like his rookie season. Inquire about his availability because managers could be panicking while only remembering Dotson through recency bias.
Antonio Gibson (RB – WAS)
Call me Rick Roll because I’ll never give up on Antonio Gibson. Gibson is a free agent this year and our guess is he moves on from the franchise that didn’t want to utilize him. He is dirt cheap right now, allowing you to acquire a starting running back or a pass-catching back on a better offense. A few teams in need of running backs are the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys (depending on Tony Pollard‘s contract) and possibly the Cleveland Browns, considering the age and health of their running back room.
