With the 2023 fantasy football season wrapped up, all eyes are starting to shift toward the off-season. In dynasty leagues, that means 2024 dynasty rookie rankings and rookie mock drafts. With that in mind, here’s a quick look at an initial 12-team, 1QB league mock draft. These rankings are preliminary and are sure to change as more information becomes available. Here’s a look at my full two-round dynasty rookie mock draft. Below we dive into a few notable picks.
2024 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft: 12-team, 1 QB
Pick. 1.01 – Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR – Ohio State)
The No.1 pick is often the easiest selection of the entire draft. With generational talent Marvin Harrison Jr. taking his talents to the NFL, this year figures to be much of the same. The Ohio State product is a near-lock to go No.1 overall in most 1QB rookie drafts. Harrison Jr. has a polished skillset, NFL bloodlines and has been extremely productive despite sharing targets with some of the best wide receivers in the nation.
Pick 1.02 – Malik Nabers (WR – LSU)
In most seasons, we would be calling LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers the consensus No.1 pick in 1QB rookie drafts. While Harrison Jr. looks to hold that crown this season, Nabers is a tremendous consolation prize for whoever is holding the No. 2 selection. After racking up 1,000+ yards and three touchdowns in 2022, Nabers took his game to another level this season. Nabers finished with 1,569 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.
Pick 1.03 – Rome Odunze (WR – WAS)
Although a tier below the top-two wide receivers, Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze might possess the best size/speed combination in the entire draft. Odunze profiles as your prototypical X-receiver who can both stretch the field and make tough catches in traffic.
