Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft: Brock Bowers, Keon Coleman, Brian Thomas Jr. (2024)

With the 2023 fantasy football season wrapped up, all eyes are starting to shift toward the off-season. In dynasty leagues, that means 2024 dynasty rookie rankings and rookie mock drafts. With that in mind, here’s a quick look at an initial 12-team, 1QB league mock draft. These rankings are preliminary and are sure to change as more information becomes available. Here’s a look at my full two-round dynasty rookie mock draft. Below we dive into a few notable picks.

2024 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft: 12-team, 1 QB

Pick 1.04 – Brock Bowers (TE – Georgia)

Some might consider this high for a tight end, but Georgia’s Brock Bowers is a special talent at the position. Bowers burst onto the scene during his true freshman campaign and has been regarded as the unquestioned No. 1 tight end in the nation ever since. Despite playing in a run-first Georgia offense and missing half of his junior season, Bowers finished his career with 31 total touchdowns. Impressive.

Pick 1.05 – Keon Coleman (WR – Florida State)

There are questions about his ability to separate at the next level, but Florida State’s Keon Coleman has special ball skills in contested catch situations. We’ll see if it translates, but that superhero power allowed him to overcome any separation issues that may have popped up in college.

Pick 1.06 – Brian Thomas Jr. (WR – LSU)

Another size/speed wonder that profiles as an X-Receiver at the next level, LSU’s Brian Thomas Jr. becomes the second LSU Tigers wide receiver taken in the first six picks. Thomas Jr. isn’t quite as explosive as LSU teammate Nabers, but he’s emerging as a potential early-round draft pick after finishing 2023 with a career-high 1,177 receiving yards and a whopping 17 touchdown receptions.
