With the 2024 NFL Draft class set in stone, all eyes turn towards the 2024 football season. With that in mind, let’s look at how a two-round 10-team 1QB devy mock draft might shake out right now. These rankings are still in flux so don’t forget to check back for updated mock drafts over the coming months.
Devy Mock Draft (2024 Fantasy Football)
Round One
Pick 1.01 – Luther Burden (WR – Missouri)
There’s a debate up top for some, but this is the easiest pick selection in the draft for me. Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden is the unquestioned top player on my board. Burden showed his explosiveness as a freshman last year, but his game soared to another level this season. After hauling in 375 receiving yards in year one, Burden jumped up to 1,212 receiving yards this season.
Pick 1.02 – Evan Stewart (WR – Oregon)
Despite a tremendous amount of talent, former Texas A&M wide receiver Evan Stewart never eclipsed 650 receiving yards in his two seasons in College Station. Instead of wasting another year in a terrible offense, Stewart made the business decision to transfer to Oregon to finish out his playing career. Expect Stewart’s statistics to finally catch up to his on-field ability.
Pick 1.03 – TreVeyon Henderson (RB – Ohio State)
Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson’s returning to school not only shocked the college football world, but it also directly impacted devy and dynasty rookie rankings everywhere. While that return hurt the 2024 running back class, it added another first-round talent to devy drafts across the nation. Ohio State added competition at running back (more on that later), but most expect Hendrson to improve his stock after injuries slowed his momentum late last season.
Pick 1.04 – Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Arizona)
Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan broke out in 2023 with 1,402 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns, and 15.6 yards per carry (YPC). McMillan (6-foot-5, 210 pounds) profiles as a target-volume X-receiver in the NFL.
Pick 1.05 – Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)
Another shocking return to school. Another shocking return to school involving Ohio State. Despite Michigan winning the CFP National Championship, what an offseason for Ohio State supporters. Egbuka was often overshadowed by Marvin Harrison Jr. (among others), but most project him as the 1A in the Ohio State wide receiver room. However, expect Egbuka to be pushed by Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith.
Pick 1.06 – Quinshon Judkins (RB – Ohio State)
After racking up over 2,700 rushing yards and 34 total touchdowns in two seasons at Ole Miss, running back Quinshon Judkins surprisingly entered his name into the transfer portal mix. That shocked many of us at the time, but the running back landing at Ohio State cleared things up. Judkins will compete with TreVeyon Henderson for running back touches, but there should be more than enough to go around.
Pick 1.07 – Nicholas Singleton (RB – Ohio State)
Like most of the Penn State offense, running back Nicholas Singleton struggled through much of last season. One year after having 1,000+ and 12 touchdowns on the ground, Singleton only managed 752 rushing yards and eight touchdowns as a sophomore.
Pick 1.08 – CJ Baxter (RB – Texas)
It took half the season, and a Jonathon Brooks injury, but Texas running back CJ Baxter started to emerge down the stretch of his freshman campaign. We need to see more production than the 659 rushing yards he managed last season before we crown him, but there’s something to build on there.
Pick 1.09 – Zachariah Branch (WR – USC)
As expected, USC wide receiver Zachariah Branch showed glimpses of his talent throughout his freshman campaign. Also, as expected, Branch never received the type of passing volume to break out. Branch only managed 320 yards through the air, but he was electric in the rushing and return game. With more playing time on offense expected next season, Branch will have every opportunity to break out in 2024.
Pick 1.10 – Nico Iamaleava (QB – Tennessee)
The battle for QB1 is heavily debated, but I’m rolling the dice on Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava. After sitting behind Joe Milton last season, Iamaleava is expected to get the keys to the offense in 2024 and beyond. The former consensus Five Star quarterback will be put in every position to succeed under Head Coach Josh Heupel.

- Pick 2.01 – Carnell Tate (WR – Ohio State)

- Pick 2.04 – Justice Haynes (RB – Alabama)
- Pick 2.05 – Trevor Etienne (RB – Georgia)
- Pick 2.06 – Ollie Gordon (RB – Oklahoma State)
- Pick 2.07 – Quinn Ewers (QB – Texas)
- Pick 2.08 – Dante Moore (QB – Oregon)
- Pick 2.09 – Omarion Hampton (RB – North Carolina)
- Pick 2.10 – Conner Weigman (QB – Texas A&M)
