Senior Bowl Quarterback & Tight End Rankings

QUARTERBACKS

It was a rough day for the quarterbacks in general. Bo Nix spent most of the morning session checking-down. Nix struggled in the rare instances he’d throw downfield, with several errant throws. Similarly, concerns we already had about Michael Penix Jr.’s game cropped their head during Tuesday’s morning session.

Here are the team’s QB Senior Bowl Rankings after Tuesday’s session:

• Michael Penix Jr. is the consensus No. 1 overall pick here, even though none of the QBs really stood out in a positive way on Day 1 on Tuesday.
• Bo Nix, likewise, is a consensus No. 2.
• Spencer Rattler is a high-upside No. 3 for Thor, while DBro and Froton have him at No. 4.
• Joe Milton is at No. 5 for Thor and Froton, No 3. for DBro
• Sam Hartman is the consensus No. 6, right above the consensus No. 7 Carter Bradley.
• Froton is the high man on Michael Pratt (No. 3), while Thor has him at No. 4 and DBro has him at No. 5.

TIGHT ENDS

It was largely an uneventful day for the tight ends. They weren’t particularly bad or good. They just weren’t exciting and didn’t stand out. Theo Johnson was perhaps the exception, who seemed to catch everything thrown his way.

• AJ Barner is at No. 1 for Thor but No. 3 for DBro and No. 4 for Froton.
• Theo Johnson was the winner of Day 1 for tight ends and is No. 2 for both Thor and Froton but No. 4 for DBro.
• Brevyn Spann-Ford is the consensus No. 6 pick for the group, just behind Jared Wiley, the consensus No. 5.
• DBro is the high man on Jaheim Bell at No. 2.
• Ben Sinnott is at No. 1 for both DBro and Froton but No. 3 for Thor.
