NFL Week 13 Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2023)

NFL Week 13 Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2023)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for this week’s NFL action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NFL more/less picks.

Sleeper Picks NFL Week 13

Season record: 24-23

David Montgomery (RB – DET): 63.5 rushing yards

Montgomery continues to shine in the Detroit Lions offense. He’s rushed for 67 or more yards in every game he finished, with 71 or more in the last five of those. He’s averaging a career high 81 rushing yards per game and remains a focal point of the offense despite the emergence of Jahmyr Gibbs. New Orleans has relinquished 90.9 rushing yards per game to running backs this season, and if they fall into negative gamescript as projected, Montogmery should be afforded more than enough opportunities to hit at least 64 rushing yards. Mash the More on Monty for Week 13.

Pick: More

Rashee Rice (WR – KC): 43.5 receiving yards

Rashee Rice had looked like the Kansas City Chiefs top wide receiver option since early this season, but his Week 12 performance all but solidified him as the team’s top receiver target going forward. Rice hauled in eight of 10 targets for 107 receiving yards and a touchdown in his breakout game against Las Vegas and should see a healthy stream of targets from Patrick Mahomes. He sees enough slot snaps to have more than a few favorable matchups throughout the game, making the 43.5 total feel like a generous offering from our friends at Sleeper Picks. Rice has recorded 56 or more receiving yards in four of his last six games and is set to see an expanded role. Rap the More on Rashee for Week 13.

Pick: More

Pat Freiermuth (TE – PIT): 31.5 receiving yards

New OC, new lease on life. In a game where Diontae Johnson quit on the team, his teammate Pat Freiermuth had a monster performance. Muth reeled in nine of 11 targets for a career-high 120 receiving yards, looking like the elite weapon he’d been ticketed as since entering the league. Despite not throwing a touchdown, Kenny Pickett had one of the best offensive performances of his career in his first game in the new system, and if Week 12 is any indication, Muth is going to be a focal point of the offense going forward. This weekend Muth faces an Arizona Cardinals defense that has allowed 32 or more receiving yards to opposing tight ends five times this year, surrendering 37.5 per game to the position.

Pick: More

Bonus

Trevor Lawrence (QB – JAC): 0.5 passing yards

There is a promo line on Trevor Lawrence for Monday night, but this one if exclusively for first time users. If you fall into that category, be sure to key this in with at least one of your plays this weekend. There is no analysis needed on 0.5 passing yards, so I will use this time to say that we have yet to see the best from Trevor Lawrence this season. We have seen flashes, but there are still a few more levels for him to climb before he becomes the finished project that many envisioned. Lock in the More on Lawrence for Week 13, if eligible.

Pick: More

Patrick Mahomes (QB – KC): 0.5 passing yards

Sleeper set promo lines for all of the prime time games this week. For Sunday night, they have Patrick Mahomes at 0.5 passing yards. The play here is obviously on the more, but this offer is for first time users only. It is something to key on at least one of your tickets while bearing in mind that you cannot combine promo lines, and you will have to make a minimum of three predictions when you use a promo instead of the two minimum in normal circumstances.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
