NFL DFS Week 15 Stacking Advice & Picks (2023 Fantasy Football)

It’s Week 15 and fantasy football is in its peak season, with the playoffs starting worldwide. However, the DFS community has been playing so or die all year with our one-week season preference of play. This week, we have another slate with games affected by the weather. We also have a small slate due to the games on Saturday. However, we were able to identify a few diamonds in the rough that could help lead us to victory in Week 15. Check out some of our favorite stacks to help you dominate this slate.

NFL DFS Week 15 Stacking Advice

Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots

Our first stack is unusual as we leave the quarterback out of the planning. We also attack a game that most people won’t use between the Chiefs and the Patriots. We understand that the Chiefs have not been the same this season and the Patriots are just bad; however, we will build leverage on the field with that thought pattern in Week 15.

First, we attack this game with the emerging rookie in Rice. DraftKings has Rice at only $6,100, which is still low for what he brings to the table for the Chiefs. Rice has seen nine or more targets in his past three games. He also received his highest snap percentage (85%) in Week 14.

We have spoken often on this website about the post-bye rookie bump and how rookie wide receivers turn it on at the end of their inaugural season. This situation is no different with Rice, who will be facing one of the easier defenses in the league for wide receivers in the Patriots. New England allow the eighth-most receptions to the position, enabling Rice to dominate from a PPR perspective.

Now, like Taylor Swift, we take an interest in Travis Kelce. Using Kelce is simple. He is the team WR1. You have to look at his price and compare it to the wide receivers around his pricing when you decide to use Kelce. He is so popular to me this week because of the leverage he can create for your lineup. Currently, he is projected for less than 10% rostership in DFS. Whenever you can get Patrick Mahomes No. 1 option and build leverage, you do it.

Finally, we move to JuJu. Do you believe in revenge narratives? We do when it involves players obsessed with their image, like the Tik Tok-loving Smith-Schuster. You combine that motivation with the fact that the Patriots are void of healthy weapons and you have a great dart throw for cheap in your lineup. This past week, JuJu had his best game of the season with four receptions on six targets for 90 yards. It’s not an easy matchup for him, but once again, you’ll build leverage on the field with great pricing in Smith-Schuster.

Washington Commanders at Los Angeles Rams

The reason this threesome isn’t our first stack is that they will be some of the more chalky plays in Week 15. You are great if you use this in cash; in GPP, you will have to get extremely different elsewhere. This threesome will also cost a pretty penny, but you have to use their players whenever a team faces the Commanders. I don’t make the rules; I enforce them here.

Stafford has been on a roll lately. He has finished as a top-10 quarterback in three consecutive games. He has also recorded three or more touchdowns in those games. Now Stafford faces one of the worst pass defenses in Washington. He also gets all the time in the world in the pocket because the Commanders can not rush a quarterback. The recipe states Stafford should continue this hot streak and elevate your fantasy rosters.

When using Stafford, we recommended stacking him with Williams. Using the unique QB/RB stack, you bet on the Rams reaching/exceeding their implied total on the week (28). You also get one of Stafford’s favorite pass catcher and McVay’s favorite weapon. Williams has finished an RB1 six times in 2023. He also has four games of five or more targets while producing six games with 15 or more rushing attempts.

Williams is a workhorse, which will make him chalk, but we eat chalk at the running position for breakfast, lunch and dinner here at FantasyPros. Don’t get cute. Use the workhorse backs when they are priced fairly, like Williams.

When you think of Stafford, you also think of Kupp. Yet we implore you to think differently and reach for the young stud Nacua. First, if you use this stack, you’ll need the slight salary relief Nacua offers your lineup. Second, Nacua has slowly taken over this wide receiver core and become the apple of Stafford’s eye. Nacua leads the team in first-read percentage, designed plays and endzone targets. Whenever you have someone dominate significant snaps and having plays made for them, you want them in your lineup. We call this the Deebo Samuel effect (Trust me, it’s catching on). Nacua is a juicy investment this week as he faces a Commanders defense that allows the most receiving yards in the NFL. This defense also allows the second-most touchdowns and second-highest fantasy points per game (FPPG) in 2023. Use Puka and know you are safe with this young stud.

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers

Telling you to use the 49ers in your lineup isn’t world-shattering advice, but it has to be said. Most will want to use Christian McCaffrey, which is fine. However, his price tag makes it extremely hard to stack this team. However, with Samuel, you receive salary relief to access one of the best teams in the NFL. We also get Deebo facing a defense that loves to use two-high safety coverage, which Deebo eats up like Pac-Man eats dots.

Typically, we aren’t fans of using QB/WR duos the second time they face a defense, which is why they are the last stack in this article. However, when a team is this hot, you can not ignore the potential for slate-domination within the 49ers offense.
