This is a fantastic slate to play in a GPP! We have a week full of byes, with six teams taking a break. That leaves us with just 10 games on the main card, but there are some fascinating matchups. We have a ton to discuss, so let’s go ahead and get started with the picks we love for Week 13!
NFL Week 13 DFS GPP Lineup Advice & Picks
The players below are ones I’m looking at for GPP considerations for Week 13:
Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Kyler Murray (QB – ARI): $7,000 at PIT
Kyler is one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the NFL with his rushing abilities, and he’s an elite GPP option because of it. This guy was the top-scoring quarterback before his ACL tear and has scored at least 18 DraftKings points in all three games this year. We expect him to get better as the season continues, and we’re not worried about a Pittsburgh team that ranks 24th in passing yards allowed.
Russell Wilson (QB – DEN): $5,700 at HOU
The Broncos are the hottest team in the NFL right now, and a revival season from Russ is the primary reason for that success. Wilson is averaging over 18 DK points per game, and scored at least 14 fantasy points in all but one game this year. That’s a fantastic floor and average from such an affordable player, and we love that he faces a Texans team with a 27th OPRK against opposing quarterbacks.

Derek Carr (QB – NOS): $7,000 vs. DET
If Carr didn’t get injured against Minnesota a few weeks ago, we’d be talking about how he’s been one of the top quarterbacks in the league. He had at least 16 FanDuel points in five straight games before that injury and threw for over 300 yards last week. He was also attempting nearly 40 passes per game in that span and shouldn’t be this cheap with that sort of volume. Not to mention, Detroit is surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing signal-callers.
Gardner Minshew (QB – IND): $6,800 at TEN
Minshew has always been fantasy-relevant when starting, averaging nearly 15 FanDuel points per game as a starter throughout his career. We’ve only seen glimpses of that this season, but Indy will need more from him with Jonathan Taylor now sidelined. We love that since Minshew has been hitting his average, with at least 15 FD points in three of his last five outings. That stretch should continue against Tennessee, who has a 21st OPRK against opposing quarterbacks.
Running Backs
DraftKings
Devin Singletary (RB – HOU): $5,900 vs. DEN
Many people will fade Singletary with Dameon Pierce returning last week, but this is still the guy in Houston. Singletary has played at least 75 percent of the team’s snaps in four straight games. He’s also just shy of a 20-point average across his last three fixtures and shouldn’t be faded against Denver. The Broncos are surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season!
Jaylen Warren (RB – PIT): $5,400 vs. ARI
There’s no doubt that Warren is the most talented back in Pittsburgh, averaging over 5.4 yards per carry throughout his career. That elite speed has been on full display recently, with Warren averaging 15 FanDuel points per game across his last four outings. You can’t ask for any more from a $5,400 player, especially since Warren’s usage is rising as the season progresses. The matchup is the icing on the cake, with Arizona allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing rushers.

Rhamondre Stevenson (RB – NWE): $7,300 vs. LAC
Stevenson got off to a slow start this season, but he did the same thing last year. This guy was a top-10 back after the opening month of last season and comes into this matchup scoring 19 or more FD points in two of his previous three games. He’s re-establishing himself as the workhorse of this offense and needs to be utilized against a 26th-ranked Chargers rush defense.
James Conner (RB – ARI): $6,300 at PIT
I was shocked to see Conner sitting at just $6,300. This guy has been an $8K player throughout his career, and the only reason his price dropped is because he’s been limited in his return from an injury. We expect his workload to rise as the season closes, and the price should do the same. The Steelers are far from a scary matchup, posting a 25th OPRK against opposing backs.
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
Adam Thielen (WR – CAR): $6,600 at TB
Thielen’s production has been falling the last few weeks, but this is an excellent spot for the veteran to bounce back. The Buccaneers’ secondary has been one of the worst in the NFL, surrendering the second-most passing yards over the last month. They also have a 29th OPRK against opposing wideouts and are facing a player who was a top-5 wide receiver just four weeks ago. If he can get close to the 8-10 catches and 10-15 targets we saw through the opening two months, Thielen could be one of the steals of the slate!
Diontae Johnson (WR – PIT): $5,000 vs. ARI
It’s wild to see DJ sitting at just $5K. This guy is averaging close to 90 catches and 1,000 yards a season throughout his career, and he’s just too good of a player to be this cheap. The recent form and poor quarterback play is terrifying, but Johnson is not a massive gamble at just $5,000. Facing Arizona is an amazing opportunity to get back on track, with the Cards posting an 18th OPRK against opposing receivers.

Jaylen Waddle (WR – MIA): $7,800 vs. WAS
Most people will use the Tua Tagovailoa–Tyreek Hill stack, but throwing in Waddle is a great way to separate yourself in a GPP. We all know about this guy’s speed, and he established himself as a top-10 wide receiver last year. We’ve talked about how Washington is the best matchup for opposing wideouts, and it’s particularly beneficial since Waddle is coming off season-highs with eight catches for 114 yards last week!
Cooper Kupp (WR – LAR): $7,100 vs. CLE
Wow, I don’t believe I have ever seen Kupp at $7,100! Injuries and ineffective play have earned him this price drop, but Kupp was a $10K player this time last season. We all know he’s one of the best wideouts in the league when he’s out there, and he’s worth a shot in a GPP with the massive price drop. Nobody will want to use him against Cleveland either, and it’s a rare spot where we can take advantage of a low-cost opportunity like this.
Tight Ends
DraftKings
Logan Thomas (TE – WAS): $3,600 at MIA
Thomas is in the middle of a rough stretch, but we love his upside for GPPs. This guy has scored at least 7.1 DK points in eight games this season, averaging nearly 10 DK points per game. That’s all you can hope for from a $3,600 player, and he should get targeted in this matchup. We say that because Washington might have to throw 50 times to keep up with a Miami team projected to score 30 points.

David Njoku (TE – CLE): $5,600 at LAR
It’s impressive how much Njoku is being targeted in this offense right now. The big tight end has at least eight targets in five of his last six outings! He’s also got at least five catches and 54 receiving yards in all but one of those. That plus the Rams’ 29th OPRK against opposing tight ends this season makes it hard to believe that he’s seventh in salary on FanDuel.
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Cleveland Browns D/ST: $3,100 at LAR
Many people are now worried about the Browns, which will have them less rostered than they should be. That’s a silly notion because they’re leading all D/STs with 9.7 DK points per game. That’s quite the total from a $3K option, and this Rams offense has looked dreadful the last few weeks. That’s why we’re looking at a game with a 39-point total, projected to be one of the lowest-scoring games of the weekend.

Arizona Cardinals D/ST: $3,100 at PIT
Arizona has been an atrocious defense, but this is one of those spots where we could benefit from a cheap D/ST in a fantastic matchup. The Steelers just surpassed 400 yards for the first time in five years, and they rank near the bottom of every offensive category. That would put any D/ST in play against them, and it’s hard to overlook that the Cards are the priced as the second-lowest D/ST in one of the best matchups out there. They just need a few mistakes from Kenny Pickett, and that’s not asking for much!
