Having a small slate on a Friday is rare, but that’s what we’re looking at. We only have six games to dissect, but we have so many fun matchups to talk about. We still have the three best players in fantasy on this card, and it’s nearly impossible to fade those MVP frontrunners with how they have been playing. With that said, let’s look at the schedule and odds!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Stephen Curry (PG/SG – GSW): $9,600 DraftKings, $8,800 FanDuel
Chef Curry has been carrying this Golden State team on his back. The former MVP has scored at least 46 DraftKings points in eight of his last 11 outings, generating a 43-point average in that span. His biggest asset is a matchup with the Wizards, though, ranked 29th in defensive efficiency and last in points allowed. They’re also surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing guards, with Curry collecting 54 and 68 DK points in their two most recent matchups.
Devin Booker (PG/SG – PHX): $10,000 DraftKings, $10,100 FanDuel
It’s hard to understand how Booker has been so good while the Suns have been so poor. DB has become the primary playmaker in Phoenix, scoring at least 40 DraftKings points in all but one game this year! That has his season average north of 50 DK points per game, and he should slice right through this 23rd-ranked Sacramento defense. Book has at least 45 DK points in six straight matchups with the Kings!
Alperen Sengun (C – HOU): $8,300 DraftKings, $8,400 FanDuel
Sengun has been one of the biggest breakouts of the season. The Rockets big man has become their primary playmaker, scoring at least 30 DK points in 24 of 25 games. He’s also averaging over 40 fantasy points per game and should destroy a Dallas team that is missing its starting center. In their one matchup earlier in the season, Sengun scored 52 DK points in one of the performances of his career.
Cash Game Considerations
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $11,000 DraftKings, $12,200 FanDuel
It’s hard to believe that Jokic isn’t the best player in fantasy because he goes off in every game. The two-time MVP is averaging 62 DraftKings points per outing, establishing a 50-point floor. That’s what you want from one of your cash game players, but he’s been doing this for five years now. He’s annihilated the Nets, too, scoring at least 65 DK points in four straight matchups with Brooklyn.
Joel Embiid (C – PHI): $11,200 DraftKings, $12,900 FanDuel
Embiid is the highest-scoring player in fantasy, averaging nearly 65 DraftKings points per game. That’s hard to fathom, but it’s no surprise since he’s got at least 67 DK points in 10 of his last 11 outings. We can’t avoid the MVP right now because he’s doing everything now that James Harden is out of the picture. Not to mention, he’s got a 59-point average against Toronto this year!
Tim Hardaway Jr. (SG/SF – DAL): $6,100 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel
This Dallas roster has been dismantled by injuries. They’re expected to be without Doncic, Irving, Lively, Green, and Kleber. That leaves Hardaway as one of the only playmakers left, and we genuinely believe he could be looking at 40 minutes and 20-25 shots with so many players missing. Everyone will use THJ because he’s the free square on the slate.
GPP Targets
Jonathan Kuminga (SF/PF – GSW): $5,600 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel
We’ve always known Kuminga can be a stud when given a full workload, and we’re finally getting that with Draymond Green suspended and Andrew Wiggins relegated to the bench. That’s moved JK into the starting lineup, averaging 27 DK points per game across 26 minutes in his last six starts. This guy has always performed at a $7K level when playing 25-30 minutes a night, and that sort of opportunity makes him an excellent option against the worst defense in the NBA.
Daniel Gafford (C – WAS): $6,000 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel
We had Gafford in here yesterday, and we’re going right back to him for all the same reasons. The Wizards center has always been a dominant per-minute producer, averaging 35 DK points per game across his last 12 outings. He’s simply the only center on this lackluster roster, and he will keep scoring 35-40 fantasy points per game in a 30-minute role. Golden State is a great matchup, too, posting a 22nd OPRK against opposing centers.
Kyle Lowry (PG – MIA): $5,400 DraftKings, $4,900 FanDuel
This veteran is near the end of his career but is amid a revival season in Miami. The former All-Star has scored at least 26 DraftKings points in 12 of the 24 games he’s finished. That’s all you can hope for from a GPP option, especially since half of the Miami team is on the injury report for this game. The matchup with Atlanta is also fantastic, ranked 28th in total defense!
Value Plays
Chris Paul (PG – GSW): $6,500 DraftKings, $6,800 FanDuel
CP3 has gotten off to a slow start in his debut season with the Warriors, but he’s been awesome whenever Green has been sidelined. The Point God is averaging over 30 DK points per game when Green has been out this year, seeing his ball-handling skyrocket in his absence. That’s all we want from this playmaker, with Paul scoring 36 DK points across 35 minutes in his most recent outing. If he gets 30-35 minutes against this woeful Washington defense, Paul should provide immense value.
Dillon Brooks (SF – HOU): $5,600 DraftKings, $5,200 FanDuel
Brooks has always been considered the bad boy of the NBA, but he remains a solid value in DFS. The feisty forward is guaranteed 30-35 minutes and double-digit shots every night, scoring at least 29 DraftKings points in three of his last four fixtures. That’s all you can ask for from such an affordable player, and we know he’ll be motivated against a shorthanded Dallas team. Not to mention, Dallas ranks 23rd in defensive efficiency ratings.
Drew Eubanks (C – PHX): $4,500 DraftKings, $4,100 FanDuel
With Nurkic getting ruled out in this game, Eubanks should start at center and play 25-30 minutes. He did this a ton in Portland, averaging nearly 30 DraftKings points per game in that expanded role. He’s also averaging 16 DK points per game across 17 minutes in a reserve role this year, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see both of those totals double here.
