It’s hard to believe we’re in December already. The In-Season Tournament is almost over, and this is the first Friday we don’t get In-Season tourney games. It’s also a rare Friday with a short slate, with only six games making up this card. That’s the perfect amount for DFS, though, because it’s not too many games to get overwhelmed with, but it gives us plenty of players to pick from. With that said, let’s look at the schedule and odds!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Devin Booker (PG/SG – PHX): $10,000 DraftKings, $10,000 FanDuel
Book had his worst game of the season on Wednesday, but that was an outlier in an otherwise sensational season. The Phoenix point guard scored at least 44 DraftKings points in every game before that stinker, generating a 53-point average in those nine outings. He needs to do that with Bradley Beal nicked up, and you know Booker will be motivated against an elite team like the Nuggets. In their six-game series last year, Book averaged 30.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game!
Zion Williamson (PF – NOP): $8,900 DraftKings, $8,800 FanDuel
Zion had one of the games of the season on Wednesday, missing just one shot while collecting 33 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. That equates to 57 DraftKings points, and he’s now got at least 38 fantasy points in seven straight outings. We’ve always known this stud could step into superstardom if he could stay healthy, and he will look extra healthy against a 29th-ranked Spurs defense.
Cole Anthony (PG/SG – ORL): $7,000 DraftKings, $6,900 FanDuel
The Magic are the hottest team in the NBA, and Anthony is likely the Sixth Man of the Year frontrunner. An injury to Markelle Fultz has allowed Anthony to take over this offense, scoring at least 26 DK points in eight straight outings. He’s also flirting with a 40-point average in that span and should continue to be the primary playmaker as long as Fultz is sidelined. The matchup with Washington is the icing on the cake, with the Wizards allowing the most fantasy points to opposing guards.
Cash Game Considerations
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $12,400 DraftKings, $12,700 FanDuel
It’s hard to believe what Jokic is doing right now. He’s leading the league with 65 DK points per game and amid one of the best stretches of his career. The two-time MVP has at least 67 DraftKings points in 11 of his last 13 games, scoring at least 74 fantasy points in six of those. There might not be another player who reaches that 74-point total six times all year, and we love that Joker averaged 31 points, 16.5 rebounds, and 12 assists against the Suns last season.
Luka Doncic (PG – DAL): $11,400 DraftKings, $11,900 FanDuel
If it weren’t for Jokic, more people would be talking about Luka as a potential MVP. The Slovenian point guard has scored at least 45 DK points in all but one game, surpassing 70 fantasy points four times this year. He’s the safest playa alongside Jokic, and he shouldn’t have any issues reaching another upside game against a 22nd-ranked Grizzlies defense.
Brandon Ingram (SG/SF – NOP): $8,300 DraftKings, $7,900 FanDuel
We want to stack the Pelicans against the Spurs. San Antonio was dead last in every defensive metric last season and is in the bottom three in all of those categories this year. That’s huge for one of the Pels best players, with Ingram scoring at least 30 fantasy points in every game this season. He’s also just shy of a 40-point average and dropped 48 fantasy points in his last matchup with the Spurs.
GPP Targets
Tre Jones (PG – SAS): $5,200 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
Jones is the best point guard in San Antonio, and we love his prospects here. It sounds like Jeremy Sochan might sit with an ankle issue in the second half of a B2B, but other players might be sitting in the second half of a back-to-back as well. An expanded role is all we want for Jones because he averaged 30 DK points per game as a starting point guard last season. We’re willing to take the risk at this diminished price because Tre can be a tremendous GPP play with that potential.
Mitchell Robinson (C – NYK): $5,700 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel
Robinson can be frustrating because of his lack of scoring, but his defense and rebounding make him an excellent GPP play. The big man has showcased a 50-point upside in the past and is playing close to 30 minutes a night. As long as he gets that sort of workload, Robinson shouldn’t be this cheap. New York also needs him to play big minutes to oppose this massive Toronto team, and we saw Mitch-Rob register 38 DK points against them last season!
Bismack Biyombo (C – MEM): $5,400 DraftKings, $5,400 FanDuel
The Grizzlies are in the middle of a nightmarish season, losing Ja Morant and Steven Adams before opening night. The Adams absence has allowed Biz to take over as the starting center, playing nearly 30 minutes a night. He’s also averaging over 25 fantasy points per game in this expanded role and needs a price bump with the newfound minutes. Dallas is far from a daunting matchup, ranked 24th in points allowed and defensive efficiency.
Value Plays
Al Horford (PF/C – BOS): $6,200 DraftKings, $6,100 FanDuel
Big Al has been relegated to bench duties for this stacked roster, but he’s been reinserted into the starting lineup without Kristaps Porzingis. That’s led to Horford scoring at least 35 DK points in the last three games KP has missed. We’ve seen Horford perform at that level in the past, and it’s strange to see him so affordable since he’s been put in this superb situation. He’s had his way with the Sixers, scoring 41 DK points against them earlier in the year.
Dennis Schroder (PG – TOR): $6,500 DraftKings, $6,400 FanDuel
Schroder has been a stud as the starting point guard in Toronto. This man is handling the ball on every possession for the Raptors, regularly playing 35 minutes a game. That’s the role we saw from Schroder in the past, and it’s led to him averaging over 32 DraftKings points per game. We’re not worried about him facing the Knicks, posting a 19th OPRK against opposing point guards.
Goga Bitadze (C – ORL): $5,600 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel
Players taking over for injured guys is a common theme in this article, and we’re here with another one. Goga has been starting at center in the absence of Wendell Carter Jr. averaging 27 DK points per game across 23 minutes a night. That’s the per-minute production we’ve seen in the past, and he could go off against a Wizards team that ranks 29th in points allowed and 30th in defensive efficiency.
