Justin Herbert (finger) ruled out after 96-yard outing
Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert (finger) has been ruled out for the remainder of the Week 14 bout with the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Impact

Hebert ended his day going 9-for-17 passing with 96 yards and an interception. Los Angeles was down to divisional foe Denver, and already scoreless, they face an uphill battle without Herbert. Easton Stick is next up for the Chargers, and Herbert’s status should be monitored in practice.

C.J. Stroud enters concussion protocol after 91-yard day
Houston Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud has entered the league’s concussion protocol after leaving late in their Week 14 contest against the New York Jets after hitting his head on the turf.

Fantasy Impact

It was a brutal day for the Texans, who lost 30-6 and saw injuries to both Stroud and WR Nico Collins. Stroud finished the game with 91 yards on 10-for-23 passing, his roughest outing of the year. He will progress through the protocol this week but may not be available for Week 15. His situation should be monitored, and Davis Mills is next up if Stroud misses any time.

Nico Collins (calf) ruled out for remainder of game vs. Jets
Houston Texans WR Nico Collins, who went down early in the Week 14 matchup with the New York Jets due to a calf injury, has been ruled out for the second half.

Fantasy Impact

Collins will end his day with just one catch for 13 yards, a tough blow for a Texans team already facing an uphill battle with rookie WR Tank Dell out for the year. Collins has broken out this season with 60 catches for 1,004 yards through 14 weeks of the season – just the fourth 1,000-yard receiver in Texans history. His situation should remain monitored in case he misses additional time. WRs Noah Brown, Robert Woods, John Metchie III, and Xavier Hutchinson are next up in Houston.
