Week 15 Fantasy Football Burning Questions

Is Tommy DeVito someone that I can plug in going forward?

Tommy Cutlets has been phenomenal since taking over the starting duties for the New York Giants. He’s won three consecutive games with five touchdowns and no interceptions in that span.

The playoff schedule doesn’t look too bad, either: He has the New Orleans Saints this week, who are allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to the quarterback, but after that, he has the Philadelphia Eagles and then the Los Angeles Rams. Philadelphia has allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year, while Los Angeles has allowed the eight-most.

This week could be risky, but it’s getting better. Although, maybe I should be a little nicer after seeing his agent who definitely has “connections.”

With no Justin Herbert, what’s the value of the other Chargers players?

Were they even valuable in the first place?

We could see more emphasis on the run with Easton Stick behind center. Austin Ekeler was saved last week with a touchdown, but he did have 5.1 yards per carry against the Denver Broncos.

In the receiving game, if Keenan Allen plays, it’s hard not to have him in your lineup, just with the target share he gets. Other than that, I’m not trusting anyone else.

Can Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane co-exist?

We’ve seen that all season. Achane and Mostert have specific roles, and they do them well. There could also be some games where the Miami Dolphins will go with the hot hand, which was Mostert last week but Achane the week before.

Mostert gets a bulk of the red zone carries so that the touchdowns can be there, and Achane can break one off for a big play. If you have either, you are starting them.

Can Brandon Aubrey have another game like that?

You know we’re concerned for our fantasy lineups when we’re talking about kickers.

Aubrey has a great story. He played soccer at Notre Dame, then had a short career in the MLS, kicked in the USFL and worked as a software engineer until recently.

My strategy for kickers is simple: grab ones on teams that can move the ball. Dallas has moved the ball better than anyone recently, so I’d want him on my team.

Should I be scared about the Eagles going forward?

Philadelphia went through a brutal stretch by playing the Dallas Cowboys twice, along with the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers. That’s tough for any team.

The good news is the schedule gets lighter; they get the Seattle Seahawks (who have lost four consecutive games), the Giants twice (who they smoked two times this past year) and the Arizona Cardinals.

That’s a great fantasy playoff schedule to have.

I have T.J. Hockenson, should I be nervous about starting him?

Hock led the Minnesota Vikings in receiver yards last week with 58 yards.

The schedule improves with the Cincinnati Bengals, who allow the most points to tight ends. I’d start him this week, and then he gets the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers, who are also good matchups. If he doesn’t flourish against Cincinnati and you make it to the next round of the playoffs, then I’d be nervous.
