Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for this week’s NFL action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NFL more/less picks.

Sleeper Picks NFL Week 12

Season record: 20-22

Khalil Shakir (WR – BUF): 29.5 receiving yards

Shakir has been coming on strong for the Buffalo Bills in recent weeks, recording 57 or more receiving yards in three of his last four games. He has averaged 72 receiving yards per contest over that span, which surprisingly leads the team. He is still the third option at best, but his recent results have been promising. The Bills have a date with the Eagles on tap, which means that Stefon Diggs could be in for another long day at the office. Shakir is emerging as a reliable option for Josh Allen, so hitting just 30 receiving yards seems like an excellent proposition. Take the More on Shakir for Week 12.

Pick: More

Demario Douglas (WR – NE): 46.5 receiving yards

Douglas has stepped up for the New England Patriots, recording 54 or more receiving yards in three of his last four games. He has a cake matchup against the New York Giants this weekend and should be able to continue to thrive as the Patriots possession receiver. Douglas has averaged 7.7 targets, 5.3 receptions, and 55 receiving yards per game since Week 8. All three marks lead the team. He will not light the world on fire with Mac Jones as his quarterback, but as long as he is functioning as the de facto number one, he is worth a look as long as he remains under 49.5 receiving yard totals. Dap the More on Douglas for Week 12.

Pick: More

David Njoku (TE – CLE): 38.5 receiving yards

Njoku is heating up for the Cleveland Browns, recording 54 or more receiving yards in four of his last five games. He saw an incredible 15 targets last week and should continue to be leaned on heavily by rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson. DTR is using Njoku as a safety valve and should continue to pepper him with targets against a strong Denver Broncos pass rush. 38.5 is more than fair, given his recent workload. This is a number that could jump significantly in the coming weeks. Dap the More on Njoku for Week 12.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
