Week 12 is here, and we get to break down the slate, analyze who should be on our team, and attack this weekend with the best stacks to help us win money. We have been running strong for a few weeks and plan to do the same in Week 12.
Below, we will break down three stacks to help you build leverage, stack fantasy points, and cash on your lineups this Sunday so you can take advantage of these holiday deals. Let’s begin with a game I believe will be a shootout.
NFL DFS Week 12 Stacking Advice
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Indianapolis Colts
We start, as always, with our mega stack. This game between the Buccaneers and Colts can go NUCLEAR for your DFS lineups. Let’s break down the Buccaneers’ side of this stack first.

Mayfield has averaged over 16 points in his last three weeks. It’s a stretch that involved a dud of a game last week versus the San Francisco 49ers. Mayfield faces the 22nd easiest opponent for quarterbacks while slotting into our favorite quarterback rule for DFS of being a slight underdog (+2.5). The Colts allow over 30 points a game at home and with their dome blocking any weather issues, we have a perfect combination for a salary-saving value from Baker Mayfield.
You know my rule with quarterbacks is to double-stack, and there is no better for Mayfield than Evans. Evans is Top-Three in TD Market Share Percentage in the NFL. He is also second in endzone targets in the NFL. He is Mayfield’s favorite option when looking to score and we know Evans can win over the top. Evans faces the 19th easiest opponent this week and can finish as a Top-Ten wide receiver on this slate.
Finally, you attack the Colts with running backs, especially those who dominate their backfield and can catch the ball like White. The Colts are the ninth easiest opponent on the week for running backs and White is projected for close to 20 touches. With the Colts allowing the tenth most rushing yards, third most rushing touchdowns, 13th most receptions and ninth most receiving yards to running backs, White can carry you to a strong day at the running back position. The Colts allow the sixth most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to the position, and we will capitalize this weekend.
Finally, we enter the bring-back zone with Pittman. You have to use someone against this terrible Buccaneers passing defense. This defense allows the 12th most receptions, second most yards and fifth most touchdowns to the wide receiver position. The Buccaneers also allow the fourth-highest FPPG to the position. With Pittman seeing 46% target share in their last game, we know he is the alpha in this wide receiver core. Even with Josh Downs returning, Pittman will be the first option for Minshew Mania.
Buffalo Bills @ Philadelphia Eagles
Depending on the weather, this could become my favorite stack on the slate this weekend. As your local Philadelphia man, I can tell you we are looking at windy conditions and a 70% chance of rain for Sunday. We watched this weather destroy the Eagles/Chiefs’ high-scoring probability, and it once again has an opportunity to do it here for an Eagles game.
If the weather clears, this game fits perfectly into our model. We use the slight underdog quarterback (Bills +3) against a struggling pass defense like the Eagles. This Eagles team allows the sixth most FPPG to TEs and the most FPPG to WRs. They allow the most touchdowns to tight ends and the second most to wide receivers, while quarterbacks score the third-highest FPPG against my beloved Eagles.
If the weather clears, this stack can win the Milli Maker with a possible A.J. Brown bring-back. You’ll have to get fancy at your running back position to do this; however, don’t fret; we have an option for you later.
Cleveland Browns @ Denver Broncos
We can’t ignore Njoku on a slate as long as Dorian Thompson-Robinson targets him 15 times like last week. The Broncos allow the third-highest total of receptions, the most receiving yards and the second-most touchdowns to tight ends. They are the only NFL team allowing double-digit FPPG to the tight-end position.
As for the defense, we know this is a strong team. We know the Broncos, although better recently, can crumble around pressure, which is the Browns’ bread and butter on defense. This game should be a low-scoring affair, with the Browns trying to make enough plays on defense to win.
Don’t forget: Pressure + Sacks = Turnovers
Kansas City Chiefs @ Las Vegas Raiders
Jerick McKinnon is out for Week 12 and this will allow Isiah Pacheco a chance to feast against a division rival in the Raiders. The Raiders allow the fourth-highest amount of rushing yards, fifth-most rushing touchdowns, the eighth-highest reception total to running backs, and top ten in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns allowed to the position.
In layperson’s terms, the Raiders suck against running backs and you need to take advantage of that in your lineups. Pacheco runs hard and dominates against better run defenses (like my Eagles). Imagine what he can do here against the Raiders.
PS – Clyde Edwards-Helaire is alive without McKinnon and can build you leverage in a GPP. Don’t forget him in your lineups.
As for the defense, this one is simple. We follow the pressure rule above and mix it with the fact that Aidan O’Connell is a turnover machine and you get a strong defense that can carry you to the promised land in Week 12.
