Hard to believe it’s already Week 10. This week’s slate is another slate with a ton of missing star power. The Eagles, Chiefs, Dolphins and Rams are all on byes, taking with them Jalen Hurts, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and other top DFS options.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t some great plays on this slate, so let’s get to my value plays.

NFL DFS Value Picks to Target: Week 10
Quarterback
Draftkings
Geno Smith (SEA) vs. WAS $5,800
Smith is going to be fairly chalky this week as he gets a home game against the 29th ranked Commanders pass defense DVOA. The Commanders give up the third most points to quarterbacks, and the great thing about the Commanders is that their offense is good enough to keep them in the game, forcing their opposition to continue passing.
Others to consider: Brock Purdy (SF) $5,700 | Kyler Murray (ARI) $5,900
Fanduel
Baker Mayfield (TB) vs. TEN $6,600
Mayfield is coming off a solid outing against the Texans last week in what ended up being one of the highest scoring games of the season. This week he gets a Titans defense ranked 24th in pass defense DVOA. Mayfield is the cheapest quarterback on Fanduel that I’d feel comfortable playing at a mere $6,600.
Others to consider: Geno Smith (SEA) $6,900
Running Back
Draftkings
Rachaad White (TB) vs TEN $5,800
We mentioned White on my podcast last week, the Armchair Fantasy Show, that White has been”Travis Etienne-lite” over the last few weeks. What we mean by that is that White is getting all of the touches from the running back position, he’s playing 80 percent of the snaps and gets heavily involved in the passing game as well. His 20 carries last week was a season high, one week after getting his season-high in receptions (7). The only downside is the Titans run defense is ranked 8th, but his usage in the passing game and overall snap percentage make him a great play at his price.
Others to consider: Najee Harris (PIT) $4,900 | Brian Robinson (WAS) $5,400
Fanduel
James Connor (ARI) vs. ATL $6,500
Connor has yet to be activated, and there is still chance that he is not, but if he does play, his price tag is very tempting. The Falcons run defense is actually very good, ranked ninth, but Connor should assume the majority of the workload with fellow backfield mate, Emari Demercado, expected to miss this game. Connor is strictly a high volume/cheap price tag play, but he could be huge for your lineup if he’s healthy.
Others to consider: Aaron Jones (GB) $6,800
Wide Receiver

Marquise Brown (ARI) vs ATL $5,200
Brown has had no fewer than seven targets in any game since Week 1, and this week he will get the return of Kyler Murray. In the eight games Brown has had Murray as his QB since being traded to Arizona, he is averaging two more targets per game, nearly 2.5 more receptions, 25 more yards and most importantly over five more PPR points per game than games without Murray. Falcons are ranked 28th in pass defense DVOA.
Others to consider: Tank Dell (HOU) $5,500 | Diontae Johnson (PIT) $5,400
Fanduel
Tank Dell (HOU) @ CIN $6,400
One of the heroes in that Texans/Bucs game last week, Dell’s price tag is still too cheap for what he is capable of in this offense. He had 11 targets last week for 114 yards and two TDs, and while the Bengals present a stiffer test in the passing game, the Texans will be forced to pass a ton to keep pace with this potent Bengals offense.
Others to consider: Tyler Lockett (SEA) $6,800 | Marquise Brown (ARI) $6,600
Tight End
Draftkings
Trey McBride (ARI) vs. ATL $3,500
With Murray under center, Zach Ertz was getting nearly eight targets a game and averaging over 12 PPR points per game. With Ertz on IR, you can expect some similar usage from McBride this week.
Others to consider: Cade Otton (TB) $3,400
Fanduel
Kyle Pitts (ATL) @ ARI $5,300
Only one team is worse than the Arizona Cardinals in pass defense DVOA (Bills), and while I know its hard to trust Arthur Smith and this Falcons offense, value tight ends on Fanduel are hard to come by. Pitts wasn’t terrible last week, his stat line just looked bad when you compared it to the supposed No. 2 tight end Jonnu Smith (5rec 100yds 1 TD). Maybe the media pressure on Arthur Smith finally forces him to use his stud players? At $5,300, it’s worth playing Pitts to find out.
Others to consider: Trey McBride (ARI) $5,100
Defense
Draftkings
Cleveland Browns @ BAL $3,000
Division games tend to be played a little tighter, especially in the AFC North division. The Browns defense may be the best in the league, and we know that Lamar Jackson is prone to turn the ball over at times. He is also known to take sacks, both of which will help the Browns defense pay off its relatively low salary.
Others to consider: Arizona Cardinals vs. ATL $2,500
Fanduel
Arizona Cardinals vs. ATL $3,700
This is a combination of a cheap price and playing against a quarterback that known to take chances that can lead to turnovers.
