We were frustrated with yesterday’s slate before it even started, and it turned out to be the worst slate of the season. Scoring 300 fantasy points is usually the cutline in most tourneys, but that was a massive score yesterday. The good news is that we’re back to a full card here because almost every team is in action!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (PG/SG – OKC): $10,400 DraftKings, $11,500 FanDuel
SGA had one nightmare outing against Denver over the weekend but has been unstoppable outside of that. He’s got at least 53 DraftKings points in each of the other three outings, which could be his floor for the remainder of the season. We love this matchup against the Pels, posting a 29th OPRK against opposing guards this year. He had at least 45 fantasy points in all four of their matchups last season, averaging 55 DK points per game against them.
Alperen Sengun (C – HOU): $7,700 DraftKings, $8,200 FanDuel
Sengun has been sensational this season, and he’s genuinely developing into a Nikola Jokic-type player. The Turkish big man is averaging over 42 DraftKings points per game and is finally being left out there for 35 minutes a night! We love that in this matchup because Charlotte surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing centers last season. Alp had at least 51 fantasy points in both matchups last year!
Rudy Gobert (C – MIN): $6,900 DraftKings, $8,000 FanDuel
Why is Rudy below $7K on DraftKings? This guy has been an $8K player throughout his career and has been performing at that level this season. He’s averaging 40 DraftKings points per game and needs to be out there to guard Nikola Jokic. It’s not like the Joker is some stout defender, making Gob one of the best bets for a double-double on this slate.
Cash Game Considerations
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $12,000 DraftKings, $12,100 FanDuel
Not much needs to be said about Jokic. This two-time MVP was robbed of an MVP last season, leading the league with over 60 DK points per game. That’s close to what we’ve seen this season, averaging 59 fantasy points per game. His stat-stuffing is unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and he’s crushed Utah throughout his career, scoring at least 72 DK points five times against them over the last three years.
Luka Doncic (PG – DAL): $12,600 DraftKings, $12,900 FanDuel
Luka has been the best player in fantasy this season, leading the league with 76 fantasy points per game. Not many players have even reached a 76-point game, let alone average that total! It’s hard to see him duplicating that, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility since he’s looking at a 40 percent usage rate on a nightly basis. There are no safer options than Doncic and Jokic right now.
Domantas Sabonis (PF/C – SAC): $10,500 DraftKings, $10,100 FanDuel
With De’Aaron Fox likely missing this game, Domas should do everything for the Kings. He averaged nearly 50 fantasy points per game last season and has been incredible without Fox this year. In the 31 minutes with Fox on the bench, Sabonis has scored over 57 fantasy points! We expect a line like that here, with Golden State owning a 22nd OPRK against opposing big men. In their last two matchups, Domas has 59 and 66 fantasy points!
GPP Targets
Mark Williams (C – CHA): $5,900 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel
Williams is a risky option, but this Houston-Charlotte matchup looks like a sexy game stack. These were two of the worst defenses in the NBA last season, and Sengun has been crushed for his inabilities on that end of the floor. That’s big news for Williams scoring 42 fantasy points in the season opener. We expect him to do that regularly in his sophomore season, making him an excellent value in this $6K price range.
Isaiah Stewart (PF – DET): $5,400 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
Beef Stew has been beefing with opponents all year, but he’s having a breakout season. Starting next to Jalen Duren has helped him to grow, with Stewart scoring over 27 fantasy points per game. His biggest asset is this matchup because Portland has surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing power forwards this season.
Kevin Huerter (SG – SAC): $5,100 DraftKings, $4,800 FanDuel
Huerter has been horrid this season, but this stint without Fox could get him going. This guy has proven to be a capable playmaker in the past, and he’s always seen his usage bump when Fox has been out. In the 15 minutes Fox has been off the floor, Huerter has 33 DraftKings points. That’s an absurd rate, and we’ll bank on a bounceback for Huerter here.
Value Plays
Deandre Ayton (C – POR): $6,500 DraftKings, $7,300 FanDuel
Ayton was atrocious in his first two games with Portland, but snatching down 23 rebounds in the most recent outing shows how special he can be. That’s the stud we’ve been waiting to see, and it’ll be fun watching him as the primary scorer and rebounder for this rebuilding Portland team. Detroit is a great matchup, too, ranked 27th in defensive efficiency ratings last season.
Xavier Tillman (PF/C – MEM): $6,200 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel
Injuries have mauled this Memphis team, but it’s forced Tillman into the starting lineup. He’s averaging 32 DraftKings points per game this season and regularly plays 30 minutes as the team’s starting center. We can’t overlook that in such a premium matchup, with Utah ranked last in defensive efficiency while surrendering the third-most fantasy points to opposing big men.
Malik Monk (PG/SG – SAC): $5,700 DraftKings, $5,000 FanDuel
Most people will pivot to Davion Mitchell because he’ll start, but we want to ride Monk. He’s the primary playmaker whenever Fox is sidelined, leading the team with a 36 percent usage rate when he’s off the floor. In addition, Monk’s got 45 DK points in those 27 minutes this year, which could be the sort of line we see today!
