Monday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Scottie Barnes, Domantas Sabonis, Dennis Schroder (11/13)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/13)

Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): 0.5 double double

Sabonis double double is going to be one of the lines we attack every time until he starts to record less than 10 rebounds at a much higher clip. Currently averaging 12.9 rebounds per game, Sabonis has hauled in 11 or more rebounds in seven of his eight games this season. Yes, the multiplier is still low, but the value is glaring, especially as a key on a multi pick ticket. Sabonis faces off against a Cleveland Cavaliers with possibly the best big man tandem in the NBA. However, deeper analysis reveals that the Cavaliers surprisingly allow the third most rebounds per game to the center position at 16.77 per contest. Suffice it to say that this is still the high probability play that it ever was, despite the opponent having Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen on the other side. Tap the More on Sabonis for Monday night.

Pick: More

Dennis Schroder (G – TOR): 14.5 points

Dennis Schroeder has been rock solid for the Toronto Raptors this season and is currently averaging 16.7 and 9.6 assists per game. He has carried the momentum from the FIBA Championship this summer to his new team and looks more like the Hawks version of Schroeder than the shell of himself we saw in almost every season since he left Atlanta. While Schroeder has scored more than 14 points in just five of nine games this season, he has poured in 18 or more in two of his last three games and in three of his last five. That said, the main reason that this was a standout today was due to the opponent. The Washington Wizards allow a whopping 23.51 points per game to the point guard position and set at just 14.5 points; this is a line to attack. Take form and matchup and slap the More for Schroeder for Monday night.

Pick: More

Scottie Barnes (G/F – TOR): 19.5 points

Scottie Barnes has taken another step this season and is currently averaging 20.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game. The points, rebounds, steals, and blocks, lead the Raptors. Barnes’ scoring average took a bit of a hit recently as Scottie scored 20 or more points in six straight games before a mini two game slump where he averaged just 12 points per game dragged down his average. However, tonight, the Raptors will be able to touch the tonic that ails all in the NBA, facing off against the Washington Wizards. The Wizards are relinquishing a league high 26.15 points per game to the small forward position, making this line value laden enough to be one of the top plays of the day. Stick with Scottie and tap the More for tonight’s game against the Wizards.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
