Friday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions: Domantas Sabonis, Alperen Sengun, Dejounte Murray (11/17)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular season-long fantasy platforms, and they are expanding into other areas based on demand. Each week in this space, we’ll talk about some strategy for the new platform while providing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/17)

Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): 0.5 double doubles

Domantas double double remains one of our favorite plays at Sleeper Picks whenever it is available. Sabonis has recorded a double double in nine of his 10 games this season. He has hauled in 11 or more rebounds in eight of 10 games while hitting 10 assists in another. Averaging 19.1 points, 12.8 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game on the season, Domantas is an easy More play until he starts to show signs of a mini-slump. This is the type of total you pair with a promo line. Dap the More on Domantas for Friday night.

Pick: More

Alperen Sengun (C – HOU): 16.5 points

Sengun is in the midst of a breakout season and is currently averaging 19.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. He has scored 17 or more points in seven of his last eight games. Sengun has the ball in his hands often enough that he can shoot or pass at will, making tonight’s contest against the Los Angeles Clippers a More play. Los Angeles has been stingy against opposing centers, surrendering 19.35 points per game. That is the fifth-best mark in the league but still leaves more than enough room for Sengun to hit at least 17 points. Set as high as 17.5 elsewhere, there is automatic value here. Tap the More on Sengun for Friday night.

Pick: More

Dejounte Murray (G – ATL): 18.5 points

Averaging 22 points per game on the season, Dejounte has scored 20 or more points in six of his last eight games. Tonight, he faces off against a Philadelphia 76ers team allowing 21.78 points per game to the shooting guard position. There should be more than enough offensive fireworks in this matchup as it features two teams in the top 12 in PACE and has the highest total of the night at 236.5. Tap the More on Murray for tonight’s game against the 76ers.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
