Check out the latest news and notes around the NFL.

Mark Andrews (TE – BAL)

Mark Andrews suffered what is thought to be a fibula fracture and a high ankle sprain. The star TE now will miss the rest of the fantasy season at a minimum, with a small chance to return for a deep playoff run. Isaiah Likely is an interesting pickup for the rest of the season.

Waiver consideration: Isaiah Likely

De’Von Achane (RB – MIA)

De’Von Achane injured the same knee that he suffered an MCL sprain to that landed him on IR. It’s difficult to say if he reinjured the same ligament or just felt a tweak and came out as a precaution. Mike McDaniel did not give any solid information in his press conference. He did, however, imply that the injury wasn’t serious and he was kept out as a precaution. He also said there’s a chance he won’t play next week. If he doesn’t play, expect Salvon Ahmed to have an increased role.

Waiver consideration: Salvon Ahmed

Joe Burrow (QB – CIN)

Joe Burrow suffered a torn ligament in his right wrist in Thursday’s game. He will now miss the rest of the season, and I don’t think he has any chance to return, even for a potential Bengals Super Bowl run. This is a significant downgrade to the upside of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins

Waiver consideration: Jake Browning in 2QB leagues

Aaron Jones (RB – GB)

Aaron Jones was carted off the field during Sunday’s game, but the reports today are that the injury is not that severe. There is no official diagnosis, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Jones missed some time. Either way, AJ Dillon has underwhelmed when Jones missed time, so I would not prioritize him in waivers this week.

Waiver consideration: Probably not AJ Dillon, but viable if desperate
