What am I doing with the Bengals receivers without Joe Burrow?

You have to start Ja’Marr Chase because he’s your top receiver, but you don’t have to like it.

After the Burrow injury, Chase became a ghost. Jake Browning looked lost, but also played against a really good Baltimore Ravens defensive front. Browning has experience as a starter in this system, so with a week of first-team reps, it could get better. But I wouldn’t count on the top-tier production from Chase or fellow wideout Tee Higgins.

One guy to like now is tight end Tanner Hudson. He’s been getting the ball a lot more and has worked with Browning on the second unit, so that connection helps.

How dependable will Isaiah Likely be?

The Ravens’ backup-now-starting tight end hasn’t seen the ball that much this season, but that’s because Mark Andrews is one of the top players at the position in the league. They need someone to fill that void, and Likely will take it. We’ve seen Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid elevate after an injury, and the same with Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride. Look for Likely to get that same rub.

Is Trevor Lawrence back?

It had been a disappointing season for Lawrence after he broke out this past year. We might have seen a resurgence this past week after he became the first Jaguars quarterback to throw for two touchdowns and rush for two. Yeah, not even Byron Leftwich, Blake Bortles or Blaine Gabbert did that.

We can pinpoint his struggles to that left knee sprain and it seems as if he’s getting healthy. Lawrence also finally had a great connection with receiver Calvin Ridley this past week. If he gets him going, this could be a great run for both players.

I’m in need of a quarterback. Could Tim Boyle, Tommy DeVito, or Dorian Thompson-Robinson provide any value?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Definitely not.

Longer answer: The Jets have an awful offensive line, so Zach Wilson or Tim Boyle aren’t going to help. The advantage is he was with the Green Bay Packers when Nathaniel Hackett was their their offensive, so maybe he could be good, but not enough to put in your lineup.

DeVito had a great game last week against the Washington Commanders, but they have allowed the most passing yards and touchdowns this year. Don’t count on him to replicate that going forward.

DTR has some rushing ability, but they will run the ball with Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt with that offensive line.

Is the Justin FieldsDJ Moore tandem going to win a fantasy championship?

Moore did not have a touchdown with Tyson Bagent under center. But when Fields came back, Moore was unleashed. In Weeks 2-5, Moore was WR1. While Bagent was the quarterback, he was WR35. And this past week with Fields, Moore was WR6.

These two have been a great combo from the start and should continue through the season.

Is AJ Dillon a viable starter going forward?

The Packers could be without Aaron Jones for a while, so that should make AJ Dillon the feature back. While you might have to start him, you might not like it.

This year, he’s 64th in fantasy points per opportunity and 42nd in breakaway run rate. This means he’s barely getting past the line of scrimmage on his carries. His schedule also is awful going forward: Three of his next five matchups are against teams in the top-10 in points per game allowed to running backs.
