2024 NFL Mock Draft Risers & Fallers: Jayden Daniels & Jordan Morgan

2024 NFL Mock Draft Risers & Fallers: Jayden Daniels & Jordan Morgan

We’ve finally reached the college football season and that means there are draft prospects playing meaningful games. Their performances in these games help determine where these prospects get drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. As we head into the next week of the college football season, here are two college football prospects to watch for your dynasty and devy leagues.

2024 NFL Mock Draft Risers & Fallers

Jayden Daniels (QB- LSU)

Nobody has done more for their 2024 NFL Draft stock than Jayden Daniels at LSU. Despite the Tigers being 7-3 on the year, Daniels has been playing incredibly well. So good that he’s a Heisman trophy candidate and he’s expected to compete at the 2024 Senior Bowl.

So far this season, he has 3,164 yards passing, 30 touchdowns and four interceptions. Additionally, he’s averaging 8.1 yards per carry with eight touchdowns and 918 rushing yards. When you put on the tape, you can see the progress that Daniels has made. He’s confident and his anticipatory throws are standing out. The athletic ability he’s possessed has always been a problem for defenses, even when he was at Arizona State.

Weeks ago it felt like Caleb Williams from USC was going to run away with the Heisman and be the top-ranked quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft. With players such as Michael Penix Jr., and Drake Maye playing really well, it’s created a gap much closer than expected. Also narrowing the gap is Jayden Daniels. Keep tabs on Daniels to be a potential first-round quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Jordan Morgan (OT – Arizona)

There’s no denying the rise of Jordan Morgan up NFL Draft boards. He’s a physical offensive tackle who has great size and athleticism for the position. Coming off a torn ACL, there was hesitation about what Morgan could be this season.

It looks like he’s fully healthy, as Morgan continues putting together dominant performance after dominant performance. Morgan fires out of his stance on tape and his hands are as strong as any tackle in the class. At 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds, he primarily played left tackle, but some draft experts project that he could be best suited to play inside at guard.

Fortunately for Morgan, teams are always searching for help on the offensive line, and he’s got the tape to justify being an early selection for the 2024 NFL Draft. Recently, he matched up against Bralen Trice from Washington, and while he struggled at times in that matchup, there are a lot of promising traits shown in that game and other games this season. Look for Morgan to be highly coveted during the 2024 NFL Draft.
