Fantasy Impact
Taylor will have a chance to play his first game of the season on Sunday. He was able to practice in full all week, and his status seems to be less of a question of health and more of a question about whether or not he’s in game shape and fully ready to go. It looks like he’s trending towards being active against the Titans, and he will be a must-start fantasy option and will kill the fantasy value of Zack Moss if he’s active and on the field.
What the Experts Are Saying
Taylor is a game-time decision. The Colts will take this up to the wire. I know fantasy GMs are chomping at the bit to play Taylor, but I would seriously consider sitting him this week, even if he’s active. We have no clue about his projected workload if he plays or his red zone role in his first game back. Last year, Taylor ranked 16th in yards after contact per attempt, 27th in breakaway run rate, and 13th in elusive rating. Tennessee has allowed the lowest explosive run rate and the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs while also having the seventh-highest stuff rate. Week 5 Positional Value: RB3 / Sit if possible
