Will Amon-Ra St. Brown Play in Week 5? (2023 Fantasy Football)

Week 5 has arrived! Unfortunately, the injury watch for fantasy managers is also here. Players who appear on the Friday injury report and haven’t practiced much during the week can often lead to trepidation for managers trying to make lineup decisions and/or waiver claims. Don’t fret, though – FantasyPros is here to provide you with all of the latest news and updates on the players who are questionable heading into the weekend.

Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered an abdominal issue that kept him out of practice for the entire week before landing on the injury list with a doubtful designation. So will Amon-Ra St. Brown play in Week 5? Here’s the latest.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) doubtful to play Week 5

The Detroit Lions are listing star WR Amon-Ra St. Brown as doubtful to play in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Impact

St. Brown is the team’s main target hog, meaning the offense will have to operate differently without him. The Lions are potentially getting the return of WR Jameson Williams, meaning he, Josh Reynolds, Khalif Raymond and TE Sam LaPorta will likely have to pick up some of the missing work, assuming St. Brown misses the contest.

What the Experts Are Saying

St. Brown is dealing with an injury (abdomen). He has been listed as doubtful after not practicing all week. St. Brown will eventually be ruled out this week.
